Joe Scarborough will say anything for attention (all stupid). After the first GOP debate, he defended Bachmann, saying she looked in command. Later, he said "...anybody that sits here and says she has any chance of winning anything is out of their mind. Take your straw poll, take your caucus, but Iowa, if you let her win, you prove your irrelevance .." The only stance I see Scarborough taking is one of a publicity-seeker and a hate-monger.
HAHA, "No, no seriously, that will not work." thats great. but thumbs down cuz its not hypocritical, infact in the second clip he confirms that shes not a threat, laughs at the idea of her and says dont even worry about her in the race for president
I guess imbread brain dead loosers need someone to support also. Someone that is just like them. Sara fits that bill and goes the mile extra in that area.
Joe~ Sarah became Governor of Alaska in 2006. She was supported by former Gov. Frank Murkowski! To be fair mention Obama being "half term" U.S Jr. Senator and voting "present" over 100 times. Joe himself resigned from Congress prematurely and unexpectedly after a scandal. Hypocrites should no preach.

And Joe was right. Obama and the dems left Palin alone and allowed her to implode on her own (see the Couric interviews for proof). I don't think Joe was hypocritical in his remarks.
Palin was great for the GOP, she was the small minded reactionary dimwit with the proper fundamentalist church creds to keep the common base idiots content. You have to have a subpar IQ to admire her.
Just a side note if u missed the point... what Obama achieved he did it by himself. the hockey mum... well she did absolutely chicken shit to be even taken on the ticket. Theres no point hating Obama when McCain fuckered his own campaing single handedly.

The right spent over a year raking Obama, Edwards and Clinton over the coals over every little thing imaginable like what Mrs Obama wrote on her college thesis, (at least she wrote one) they lose credibility when they all play their phony save the poor lady's honor routine with Palin. After all, didn't Rush call Edwards the Breck Girl and called critics of Palin enemies of God, The moron right loves that sort of stuff. not even close to what the left has done to Bush..... like i said it goes both ways... but the liberal media attacked Bush relentlessly and now their crying racism when we say one little thing about Obama... want some cheese with that whine?
Beltway media? Whatever. Maybe it is because they are smart and informed while the GOP panders to total morons with know nothings like Palin. Talk radio etc is so anti-intelligence and facts, all it does is gin retards up with "War on Xmas" nonsense or what some Hollywood actress said that so offended some host.
Well, the VAST MAJORITY of Americans AREN'T liberal. so the fact that The vast majority of reporters ARE liberal is kind of skewed, don't you think?
Anyway, I'm glad that I called your bluff and you can't back up your non-existent quote. Just give me the week Limbaugh said that, Hell, the month, and I'll find it. Or, you can just come clean and admit you lied...
So, you don't care that NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, USA Today, the Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, the LA Times, all the Late Night Comics, and most every news reporter is clearly liberal and are not shamed about it? I can site examples from every one of these outlets of endorsing Democrat candidates to clear bias in reporting. It's well documented and not even debatable...
Oh, some more proof that the media is far and away liberal. The AP assigned 11 reporters to fact-check Sarah Palin's book. However, they never assigned one single reporter to fact-check either of Obama's books or AlGore's stupid, lying book...

I'd like audio on that, or a date and time with an exact quote. We just saw last month where people were using made up quotes from Limbaugh. I'd like to see you be man enough to prove your ridiculous statement...
Sorry I was listening to him in my car. He did say it, I would never make something that ridiculous up since up to that point, I gave him more credit than that. But it is consistent with the fact that about the only ones who found Palin admirable are all the dishonest right wing assholes with their talk shows.
It is consistent with findings that the people who take talk radio seriously are usually ignorant people who live in a little world where anyone not approved is the enemy. Death panels?
First of all, I don't believe you heard that. Give me the day. I'll look it up. I have his show on Podcasts. If he said it and you give me the day or week, I'll find it...
Second of all, there ARE death panels. What else would you call a panel of non-doctor, Obama bureaucrats deciding who gets coverage and who doesn't based on age or health? Obama himself told a woman that her Grandma should just "take a pain pill" instead of getting surgery. How is that NOT sentencing people to death?
What do you call a panel that decides who will and won't get treatment? When a group of Obama chosen bureaucrats deny procedures to older Americans because it's NOT WORTH THE MONEY, that's sentencing them to death. Get it?
Dumbass, I call that our present healthcare system. It is already that way. Do you know NOTHING about insurance companies? Of course you don't, you don't know jacksht about anything. This is such an obvious bullshit way to try to prevent the US from providing health care to people who can not get it. "Death panels"... ABSOLUTE FEARMONGERING and only an IDIOT such as yourself would try it.
OK, I see now. It's OK for the Government to stop people from getting treatment to save their lives, but not OK for Insurance Companies?
I'm not understanding your point. Are you saying it's OK for someone to decide if you live or die, as long as it's Obama?
Cause Obama has already decided it's OK for women between 40 and 50 to die from Breast Cancer, since Obama doesn't want any women under 50 to get mammograms. Doesn't that sound like he's sentencing those women to death?
BTW, when Obama himself ADMITS that Medicare will be cut by $500 BILLION, who do you think will lose coverage? Older Americans and Independents are running away from Obama in droves because of the fact that he's cutting Health Care for them, all to cover Americans who refuse to buy Health Care for themselves...
Actually, I feel sorry for you. You aren't that smart, you lack critical thinking skills, and you're trying to have an adult conversation and it's just not working, is it?
First of all, you shouldn't lie to someone to make a point. You know you never heard what you're saying you heard. So, why did you say it?
Second of all, the fact that there is nothing specifically called a "death panel", doesn't mean it's not in there. They are going to choose who lives and dies. This is unarguable...
So you say there are no death panels then you claim they're there anyways. Well, the gov't has been running Medicare for 44 years, almost all senior citizens are in it. Guess what, after 44 years, no death panels! Palin lied, but she knew the tea-douche-baggers with their "Obama=Hitler" signs would suck up such Dr. Mengele nonsense about death panel. She knows her fellow idiots well.
Just because it doesn't specifically say "death panel", doesn't mean there aren't any. There will be a panel that decides who gets treatment and who doesn't. When Obama's bureaucrats deny coverage to someone, they are sentencing that person to death....
As far as Medicare, it's a failure of a program. It loses billions every year and costs 100X more than it was supposed to. In fact, Obama is cutting $500 billion from it. Won't less coverage for seniors result in deaths?
I never said they were fine either. It's funny that these supposedly "morally" superior bible types & "intellectually" superior cons can't ever seem to understand that 2 wrongs don't make a right or 2 lies != truth
Plus, one more thing, you do understand the difference between providing Health Care to seniors who are too old to work and giving free Health Care to someone like you who is too lazy to work hard or sign up for Medicaid, right?
Oh, and the death panels have already started. Obamacare is going to mandate that mammograms don't need to be started by women until age 50 instead of 40. So, in Obama's America, anyone woman who dies from breast cancer between the age of 40 and 50 will have been sentenced to death by Obama. Do you understand?
Let's put it this way, since you're not getting it. How can Obama cover 30 million more people (or is it 45 Mil? his numbers keep changing) with no new doctors or hospitals?
Why do you think it's OK for Obama to decide that women between 40 and 50 shouldn't get mammograms? Why do you want to sentence to death 45 year old women with breast cancer?
Obama has nothing to do with that as well as Sibelius said that was not govt policy, That was an independent group that issued that report but the assholes on the right are trying to twist it into some evil Obama conspiracy to kill women

Let's be honest here....You're perseption of Palin not being qualified for the office of VP is based on the reporting of liberal media org like MSNBC.
And she does have more experience than Obama and far accreditable results in her time in office...even now with Obama having 16 days on office under his belt.
No it was based on her shallow, stupid, ignorant reactionary world view including her close ties with a church that preaches end times, conversion of Jews and cleansing of false faiths. You admire her cause you are both reactionary dimwits with a childish, self centered world view.
Yes, "let's be honest here." Palin was a litmus test for the integrity of individual conservatives. Were they going to honest be honest about Palin's not being qualified for VP or were they going to say "yes, sir." The majority of conservatives showed that they have little integrity.
amboy362, Yeah, Obama's thin experience was definitely a minus, but touting of Palin's exp. over Obama's was dubious. Mayor of a town? How long governor of one of the smallest states in terms of pop.? And, how much did all that "experience" shine thru in Palin's interviews? Not a lot, I would say. If electing a president is simply about putting the person with the most exp. in the white house, then we should have found a way to allow in the still living ex-president w/ the most yrs. in office.
NOTICE: Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is NOW offering a special "Scarah Failin Combo Meal Bucket." It consists of 2 Large Thighs, 2 Small Breasts, 13 Right Wings, in a BIG Bucket! This combo is appropriately priced of $6.66. Hurry...offer ends December 24th. ~Joe Maverick Voter
Really, you must a an uneducated small minded reactionary dimwit who found a true intellectual soulmate in her. She is stupid like you and your corny post!
I like Scarborough, even though he is a conservative he calls on the Republican party on its crap. ...may be it is because he works for MSNBC. But I like the way he said...`this will not work..Obama validated himself over the last 2 years'..he has the far sight to see what all of us think now.
You know I think a lot of Republicans like Scarborough were thinking about voting for Obama, but they felt compelled to vote for McCain and hoped he would pick a somewhat young and experienced vp as a kind of insurance policy against McCain's age. I think picking Palin though really kinda of finished off any notion they had for going with McCain, and now it's Obama or nothing for them. I place Scarborough in the class of Republicans that actually use their brain from time to time.
Cruella De Palin . . . makes her fur coats from the death of wolves through aerial hunting offering $150 for each right paw with over 700 wolves killed in the last five years just so she and her hunting clan can kill more moose.
She has MORE EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE than Obama!! Obama HAS NONE!!!!!!The last Presidents Clinton, Carter Reagan, Bush were all Governors!!!, What ,,,,,NO COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS OR SENATORS!!!!
I'm surprised Joe and Pat don't just blame the Palin pick on the "Jewish financiers" that they blame everything else on - gotta have that Nazi strain in the Catholic vote, I guess...or maybe it's Churchill's fault LOL
Charley Gibson:... OBAMA, "Can you look the Amercian People in the EYe and tell them you are qualified to be President?"... Those who vote for this guy are SUCKERS!!!!
scarborough is a whiny little deuchebag. all partisan fluff with no substance--which for some reason has become the mantra of msnbc--even smart guys like olberman.
I think people are a little too quick to judge others as hypocritical. He might have honestly changed his mind, I know I have several times throughout these past months.
if you changed your mind several times, it means you are bipolar. You change you mind once, twice at best... but several times is just wishy washy. Make a decision, stick to it and move on. If joe changed his mind that quick it means either he was wrong in the beginning or he is wrong now.
See this is what I mean by being too quick to judge others. I didn't even specify what I changed my mind about and your already claiming me to be bipolar. I can take that he was wrong before, or that certain facts he was not aware of previously surfaced, and he came to accept her. But to give him the title of hypocrite is a quick judgment call.
well who was the "too quick judge"? wasn't it Joe??? I have no opinion of Palin other than the fact that i disagree with her politics. If you changed your mind several times then i would argue that you were the quick judge. Otherwise you would have withheld judgment until you made a decision, thus no change of mind required... it's called critical thinking.
No I judge based on the fullness of facts that are presented, until some are proven false. That is the thing with politics the whole game changes rapidly through the months.
well try this, establish where your values, beliefs and goals are. ...and then pick a candidate who is closest to that. If your picking candidates based on how they campaign then you are just falling for the best liar... look at the Prez we have now, he's been an abject failure in all aspects... but wow he ran a good campaign.
...and maybe pick someone who can handle the task at hand. I have no doubt that should anything have happened to the reigning Miss Alaska, she would have been ready and able on day one to step into the roll. I'm not sure I can say the same for this runner-up slot.
@press1500 Yeah, I'm not a fan of Palin, and I don't think he changed his mind. He was talking about Democratic strategy, not about Palin herself. That's not hypocritical. It's not even comparable.

There is a divide between real reporters and gullible ones going on right now that is unprecedented. Joe has no fixed idea except the fear of the loss of conservatism, and that guides him to excuse hypocrisy and assert whatever convinces him will promote "traditional America." He is resistant to both change and progressive thought, and is rather small-minded. Mika looks vacuously at him in some sort of attempt at submissive approval, and they're really just an estranged shopping-network duo.
I don't see this as him saying anything other than what he feels. The news was fresh two weeks ago, things have changed a little..more time to assess.

Doesn't that sound like liberal bias to you?

jeffbatt2000 2 years ago

How is that NOT sentencing people to death?
jeffbatt2000 2 years ago
There are no death panels, they are a lie. End debate.
jakefree24 2 years ago
What do you call a panel that decides who will and won't get treatment? When a group of Obama chosen bureaucrats deny procedures to older Americans because it's NOT WORTH THE MONEY, that's sentencing them to death. Get it?
jeffbatt2000 2 years ago
Dumbass, I call that our present healthcare system. It is already that way. Do you know NOTHING about insurance companies? Of course you don't, you don't know jacksht about anything. This is such an obvious bullshit way to try to prevent the US from providing health care to people who can not get it. "Death panels"... ABSOLUTE FEARMONGERING and only an IDIOT such as yourself would try it.
jfrsnjhnsn 2 years ago
OK, I see now. It's OK for the Government to stop people from getting treatment to save their lives, but not OK for Insurance Companies?
I'm not understanding your point. Are you saying it's OK for someone to decide if you live or die, as long as it's Obama?
Cause Obama has already decided it's OK for women between 40 and 50 to die from Breast Cancer, since Obama doesn't want any women under 50 to get mammograms. Doesn't that sound like he's sentencing those women to death?
jeffbatt2000 2 years ago

BTW, when Obama himself ADMITS that Medicare will be cut by $500 BILLION, who do you think will lose coverage? Older Americans and Independents are running away from Obama in droves because of the fact that he's cutting Health Care for them, all to cover Americans who refuse to buy Health Care for themselves...
jeffbatt2000 2 years ago
Actually, I feel sorry for you. You aren't that smart, you lack critical thinking skills, and you're trying to have an adult conversation and it's just not working, is it?
First of all, you shouldn't lie to someone to make a point. You know you never heard what you're saying you heard. So, why did you say it?
Second of all, the fact that there is nothing specifically called a "death panel", doesn't mean it's not in there. They are going to choose who lives and dies. This is unarguable...
jeffbatt2000 2 years ago
So you say there are no death panels then you claim they're there anyways. Well, the gov't has been running Medicare for 44 years, almost all senior citizens are in it. Guess what, after 44 years, no death panels! Palin lied, but she knew the tea-douche-baggers with their "Obama=Hitler" signs would suck up such Dr. Mengele nonsense about death panel. She knows her fellow idiots well.
jakefree24 2 years ago
Just because it doesn't specifically say "death panel", doesn't mean there aren't any. There will be a panel that decides who gets treatment and who doesn't. When Obama's bureaucrats deny coverage to someone, they are sentencing that person to death....
As far as Medicare, it's a failure of a program. It loses billions every year and costs 100X more than it was supposed to. In fact, Obama is cutting $500 billion from it. Won't less coverage for seniors result in deaths?
jeffbatt2000 2 years ago

Oh, and the death panels have already started. Obamacare is going to mandate that mammograms don't need to be started by women until age 50 instead of 40. So, in Obama's America, anyone woman who dies from breast cancer between the age of 40 and 50 will have been sentenced to death by Obama. Do you understand?
Let's put it this way, since you're not getting it. How can Obama cover 30 million more people (or is it 45 Mil? his numbers keep changing) with no new doctors or hospitals?
jeffbatt2000 2 years ago

Yes, "let's be honest here." Palin was a litmus test for the integrity of individual conservatives. Were they going to honest be honest about Palin's not being qualified for VP or were they going to say "yes, sir." The majority of conservatives showed that they have little integrity.

amboy362, Yeah, Obama's thin experience was definitely a minus, but touting of Palin's exp. over Obama's was dubious. Mayor of a town? How long governor of one of the smallest states in terms of pop.? And, how much did all that "experience" shine thru in Palin's interviews? Not a lot, I would say. If electing a president is simply about putting the person with the most exp. in the white house, then we should have found a way to allow in the still living ex-president w/ the most yrs. in office.

sush139 3 years ago
You know I think a lot of Republicans like Scarborough were thinking about voting for Obama, but they felt compelled to vote for McCain and hoped he would pick a somewhat young and experienced vp as a kind of insurance policy against McCain's age. I think picking Palin though really kinda of finished off any notion they had for going with McCain, and now it's Obama or nothing for them. I place Scarborough in the class of Republicans that actually use their brain from time to time.

I think people are a little too quick to judge others as hypocritical. He might have honestly changed his mind, I know I have several times throughout these past months.
marephrem 3 years ago
if you changed your mind several times, it means you are bipolar. You change you mind once, twice at best... but several times is just wishy washy. Make a decision, stick to it and move on. If joe changed his mind that quick it means either he was wrong in the beginning or he is wrong now.
press1500 3 years ago 5
See this is what I mean by being too quick to judge others. I didn't even specify what I changed my mind about and your already claiming me to be bipolar. I can take that he was wrong before, or that certain facts he was not aware of previously surfaced, and he came to accept her. But to give him the title of hypocrite is a quick judgment call.
marephrem 3 years ago
well who was the "too quick judge"? wasn't it Joe??? I have no opinion of Palin other than the fact that i disagree with her politics. If you changed your mind several times then i would argue that you were the quick judge. Otherwise you would have withheld judgment until you made a decision, thus no change of mind required... it's called critical thinking.
press1500 3 years ago
No I judge based on the fullness of facts that are presented, until some are proven false. That is the thing with politics the whole game changes rapidly through the months.
marephrem 3 years ago
well try this, establish where your values, beliefs and goals are. ...and then pick a candidate who is closest to that. If your picking candidates based on how they campaign then you are just falling for the best liar... look at the Prez we have now, he's been an abject failure in all aspects... but wow he ran a good campaign.
press1500 3 years ago
...and maybe pick someone who can handle the task at hand. I have no doubt that should anything have happened to the reigning Miss Alaska, she would have been ready and able on day one to step into the roll. I'm not sure I can say the same for this runner-up slot.
