  • It's been years since the actual experiment, but it involves taking the part of a jelly fishes DNA that glows in UV light and then splicing the DNA of the E Coli and inserting the jelly fish DNA and allowing it to incubate for a few days. I'm sure you could search for this easily on the web for a more complete explanations and instructions on how to do it.
