    Improvisation

    AWESOME MAN!!! INSANE

  • Wow man.. that is awesome. I don't even know what to say. thank you man. duno what I just heard. If god can play guitar this is what he sounds like. i literaly duno what to write haha safe to say I loved that!

  • love the classical stylings

  • For a moment I thought you're vibrato was a trill. That's ridiculous. How do you reccomend going about getting ones pinky stronger. I can use it, and I know it wont be as strong as my other ones, but how would you suggest going about training it to be a bit stronger?

  • @SidVicious10101 hey buddy, sorry it's taken me a while to get back to ya dude. pinky eh? best suggestion... work only on your pinky. it's only a matter of muscle memory so if you make your pinky work, he'll bring home the bacon for sure. try running scales where you cut out the other nots except for the ones you need to play with your index finger or pinky. roll like that for a while until you feel like you've got some mojo flowin with the pinky. u can do some great stuff with 2 fingers.

  • @SidVicious10101 Pinky thrills. It fucking sucks but it's worth it.

  • how did you learn to sweep pick?

if you look at my videos, im to the point where im almost as fast as you get without sweeps. i wanna get some basic ones under my belt

    any tips/advice?

  • @IJmackdaddy i gotcha. try 3 string sweeps and make sure you get the timing right for the right hand. should sound a little bit like the beautiful people by marylin manson. the rythm, that is, when you mute the strings. watch yngwie's videos as much as you can for examples. there are plenty of them out there. but use those major, minor, and diminished sweep patterns to really get into it. don't move on to other strings until you feel mastered on the rythm for 3 strings.

  • Fuckin a man. Great work

  • you should be rockstar.

  • O.O i think i just shit myself

  • This sounds very similar to the style of Yngwe Malmsteen.

  • nice man very clean

  • do you by chance like randy rhoads? or classical guitar?

  • hey man, this is some seriously tasty playing. could you explain (or tab, or play in slo-mo) the tapping licks that you did at 2:24 and 3:59 ish? that major 7 thing. it sounds amazing, but it's way too fast for me to figure out. any help would be appreciated. rock on. -ben

  • sweet

  • Nice playing sir! Great sound, nice guitar and very hairy legs!

  • nice wat type of guitar is that

  • it's a Paul Reed Smith (PRS) Custom 24 in Emerald Green. a beauty =). -benji

  • Ben YOU ROCK my guitar friend. I see you are teaching in tampa. I wish I lived there cuz you are awesome. A few weeks ago my dad and I went to see Buckethead and I got to be at center stage and he gave me a toy from his bag. Some guy tried to jerk it out of my hands and Buckethead pulled it back and gave it to me. How cool is that?

  • that's pretty cool! It's hard to find people who will be that nice for people they don't know. It shows great character for Buckethead to do a thing like that, and then save it for you. It's because you rock too man. I've been watching your videos. Don't think for a minute I'd let a good young guitar player out of my sight. It's fun to watch people grow and become better as individuals, and as musicians. keep up the great work! You will go far with music if it stays in your heart. -benji

  • YOU GOT A LIGHT BULB; WHICH MEANS I CAN ACTUALLY SEE YOU NOW. YAAAYYY! lol My favorite part was the ENTIRE VIDEO. Seriously, that was some uber shredding/rocking/most kick-ass guitar playing, I've ever seen.

  • fucking awesome... you can out play pretty much anyone in the world!

  • well, probably not anyone =). there are so many different kinds of guitar players. the important thing is just to do what you love to do. i found a love with this legato style (satriani/vai/yngwie) type deal. i just like the way it flows from one point to another while changing moods and feelings along the way. mostly, i just hope people take ideas from it. it's just improv after all. =) -benji

  • God of rock.
