Strange that you'd consider that your favorite music given your expressed dislike for ambient style music. I guess if it's appropriate for the situation, it works.

Also, during my first playthrough, (the first time) I died during the Spider segment I tried to go back, but I couldn't access the area. Later I learned that the save occurrs JUST before the event flag that makes the area accessible. That's why I save again right after the conversation aboard the ship.

This is always a turning point in the game for me; the point where the difficulty takes a huge spike. The game's pretty easy up until now, then... you meet that damn spider... and the game just gets brutal from then on.

The creepy music, that's the only time you hear it while playing the game. You hear it again after a little mishap with the SA-X.
