  • "Deeper! Grow Roots!"

Every other day in training i remember that when standing in the horse stance :D

  • i want that background music where can i get one???

  • at 0:31 i think he said "very good for taking adapt" not "very good for taking a dump" :D

  • @jorilyne17 it's hard to say , i still like his accent

  • i want to download this song guys , any help ?

  • when he said " the way of the intercepting fist " , i had the same reaction of them both , cause i wasn't actually a bruce lee's fan .Only now i understand what was he talking about.

  • i love animal kung fu "WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT THE SNAKE ?"

  • I NEED MORE MOVIES LIKE THIS . i love when jet li smiles , that's what i call fun , he walks in on the scene , and he was like ... " horse stance".

  • IRONIC : KUNG FU = HARDWORK OVER TIME TO ACOMPLISH SKILL

AT THE SAME TIME JACKIE FORCES THE KID TO DO A SPLIT IN 1 DAY THAT MADE ME LAUGH SO MUCH WHEN I FIRST SAW THIS MOVIE.

  • @internetmaster1 split is no skill it is a tool to learn more skills. once you learn kung-fu you will know what the difference is.

  • @catch22fly i know it . i do kung fu , i never said that the split is a skill , i'm not making fun of the philosophy , i'm making fun about my own situation, cause when i'm training to do the splits i remenber what jackie said " hardwork over time to acomplish skill" , and that gives me patient. but when i watch this , it makes me laugh cause he was so serious saying that , but the boy was in pain you know. And dude... don't talk to me like you were my sifu it just makes me laugh more.

  • Bruce Lee's teachings are still mentioned. I'm glad! Jeet Kune Do is still remembered! R.I.P Bruce Lee.

  • very good....for taking a dump

  • That kid is such a bad actor......... every time he speaks im just like... noooo you stupid wiener... Golden Sparrow may like you if you werent such an idiot.

  • LOL, this is some whiteboy kung fu.

  • 1:25- "again, you punch him again" lol!!

  • 1:43-1:47 lol...

    they arent teaching...

they are bullying that white kid...

    1:23 yifei's smiling :)

  • THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE KARATE KID MOVIE!!

  • @JesusRad20 Thank you for making a comment. I felt I had to respond to your post, every body has there own opinions about movies. I've commented in another clip for this movie, and I don't see it as a Karate Kid film. It's a one off fantasy film. Done in away to delight the audience. The Forbidden Kingdom gives you the story of Jason returning the staff wepon to the monkey king to release him from the stone statue. The Karate Kid movies goals are to win a tornament at the end

  • @JesusRad20 the kung fu kid*

  • I love the tone in which jackie says "see?" at 1:22 its like he's saying "what could be more simple?"

  • lol where was the scene where he wees on him LOL

  • we can kill each other when it is over HAHA!!

  • -mostly the Kung Fu stances & moves bear both a philosophical & physical aspect.

  • "Horse Stance",....it empowers your endurance. It's the test of your concentration over the parameters of endurance. How long can you hold on the concentration of your mind & spirit, with your endurance at limit. The former was it's philosophical aspect, while it's physical aspect is,it strengthens the muscles of you thigh to support your body & grant a firm balance to it during the fight, when you are ought to quickly switch your legs.In fact all the trainings of martial arts-

  • thats stupid why would you use the crane to get rid of the arm when you can just punch for the face..

  • Imagine this film is a fantastic father-son film.

I had a few of these experiences with my stepfather(never ending story!)

  • "Bruce Lee?"

Two of the greatest movie martial artists look at each other - "Huh?"

  • @uofc57 That could be funny in two ways. One Bruce wasn't born yet so they don't know him or of him in the movie sense and two, Jackie Chan and Jet Li were once accused of being Bruce clones before they became famous of their own respective styles of Martial Arts Cinema.

  • horse stance would HURT after a few minutes

  • @uofc57 I second that.

  • @uofc57 I had to hold it for 30 minutes as part of earning my purple belt. It hurts, but you learn how to train your mind to ignore the pain.

  • "horse stance" "very good, for taking a dump" ROFL

  • hehe Michael is so cuuute ^^

  • The Taoist is teaching him to improve his physical body by improving his basic strength. The Buddhist teaches his improved body to look behind styles and techniques for the true mental awareness with meditation and routine.

Both teach him to reach for the formless, forgetting the physical and the mental, the empty space of the instant moment that awakens a master after hard work and experience.

  • @AtenRa So are you saying that Jet Li is teaching him the direct earthly philosophy of the tiger. Whereas Jackie Chan is teaching him the heavenly but indirect way of the dragon?

  • What is the name of the instrument she plays?

  • @nuculearbazooka

    Its called a shamisen

  • @KanjaFubuki No, shamisen is a Japanese instrument. She's playing a pipa.

  • man, jet and jackie's characters were just plain bullying jason. oh well, jackie did say to 'taste bitter before sweet.'

it's also kinda funny to see him go through the similar training that jackie went through in Drunken Master...

  • i wud be honored to train with those 2 and the bruce lee part lmfao

  • 2:16 is this a valid way to learn a split? huh?

  • omg!!! :( wish i never stoped playing with sticks i was pretty good b4 i used to have stick fights with friends back in the day....i woulda bein this good by now :(

  • must be an honor to be stomped on by 2 legends lmao

  • what does ma bu means

  • horse stance i thinks

  • @SoulRipBabe

"horseman stance" is more correct cause it represents the mood of a man sitting on a horse.

That's an isometric stance used to strenghten legs and to learn a proper alignment between head, neck and back.

  • michael looks ripped in the water

  • Well, at least they found a way to keep themselves amused.

  • HAHAHA 1:37 THE BEST PART

  • @cybergus18 Iron Nipple Grip!
