  • gotta love the classics

  • speed reload XD

  • that's not how you preaper a russian roullete :)

  • why ive you pull the trigger it wont shoot?

  • @PunkRune1 because it turns the cylinder wich is part of the process of reloading

  • @p1ngu125 ahhh... oke, thx ;)

  • This is cool a single action with a rotating cylinder if you make a pull of the trigger.

  • I would choose the Swiss M1882 over some dinky Nagant revolver.

  • IS this how all revolvers reloaded to a certain time period?

    Jesus.

  • hes turning the cylinder with the force obviously...☺

  • @saj12100 I'm not sure what you mean. With the loading gate open pulling the trigger will rotate the cylinder but not move the hammer.

  • @DrakeGmbH I was joking, normally you have to manually rotate the cylinder.

  • @DrakeGmbH star wars reference...

  • @DrakeGmbH It was a joke about Star Wars.....oh nevermind, lol.

  • @DrakeGmbH very cool system. didn't knew that =))

  • so slick! Beautiful!

  • That's ingenious! I like it!

  • Very interesting design.

  • Wonderful revolver i think one of the most reliable

  • How many weapons do you have? Very cool videos I subscribe your chanel.

  • haha, wondeful. thank you very much. this type of revolver i was looking for months. i would like to buy one on hermann historica. it is very interesting piece of history which forerun its time. very nice construction.

  • Well nevermind my Nagant Revolver comment. I didn't realize that old revolvers reloaded like that. Wow.

    The moar you know, right?

  • This type of loading gate system is called an 'Abadie gate'. The hammer is disengaged while the gate is open which allows the cylinder to rotate with trigger pressure. This greatly speeds reloading compared to manually indexing the cylinder to eject each cartridge.

See my M1895 Nagant reloading segment for comparison.

  • Thanks for the information, I was wondering if there was something that might make the squeezing of the trigger dangerous while reloading, it sure allows the gun to be reloaded quickly.

  • The hammer is physically locked in place when the loading gate is opened - no risk at all.

Take a look at the video I've linked as a response - it's a closer look at how this system works.

  • Thank you.
