My first pokemon card was Pacharisu, I say it's the first cause I bought a box with the card in the front. We had a rental car, and I put the whole deck in the pouch in the back of the seat. We were done renting and to this day my cards live on, the only card that exists is the piplup I gave my sis cause I felt bad she lost hers

I just opened a Neo destiny booster box and on my first pack I got Shinning Charizard I swear to god and i swear on my life that that was in my first pack! Sorry i didn't make a video of it but i REALLY wish i did I also got Shinning Kabutops and Shinning Noctowl

It's fine! In fact, if I wasn't so determined to rebuild my collection and get it to where it was after the binder was stolen, I'd probably not be into Pokemon now and have the collection I do have. So I guess it all worked out in the end =P

Haha no prob! It's through watching other Poke Tubers that I got back into Pokemon myself. Neo was also when I kind of started collecting, but it was where I picked up from when I got back into the "first" time ;) haha

dude i feel you about losing your collection. I worked hard to like get about 50 holos and one day i just left it at a theatre and some lucky kid got it lolz it was crushing but it only made me give up for a while now my collections way bigger!!!!

Sorry about your lost as well! But great to see your collection has grown even larger since. I know for a lot of my friends who lost their cards.. it was the event of losing the cards that actually got them more interested in rebuilding their old collection and expanding it even further!

I loved #9 -- Me too, I was impressed by the reverse holo when I went to see the movie. It was something I'd never seen before.

Nowadays, honestly, I think they've went overboard with the reverse holos... but still. That Entei brought back good memories.

haha I definitely will =] I love your idea of a Japanese top ten! When I made this video, my Japanese collection was pretty much non-existant but it's expanded a lot in last two months so I might consider using that idea if you don't mind haha

Thanks a lot =] That's also how I feel about collecting Pokemon cards too. My friends wonder why I put money into collecting cards..

However, there's so many ways I can use my money, but why not use it towards something that makes you happy? Collecting Pokemon reminds me of my childhood, and it's not like there isn't value behind these cards (and I know they'll rise especially after 1-2 decades). As well, it's not like I'm devoting all my money towards it either, so there's nothing wrong it.

Very interesting top 10. That Pichu is one of my favorite cards ever as well. I don't own it, thus prohibiting it from cracking my list. Really like the CD Promo Charizard. And I see we both have the Neo Discovery Umbreon ranked high. 5 Stars.

what does Shadowless mean for a card?

If you look at Wizard of the Coast cards (Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket, etc.) You'll see a shadow beside the picture box (to the right). However, in the first run of the Pokemon TCG in Base Set, the colours on the card were not as vibrant, and the HP sign was not bolded. And of course, there was no shadow beside the picture therefore the naming of those types of cards. The future runs of Base Set were changed to having the vibrant colours that the remaining sets had.
