The title of this video is a bit unfair to Obama. He's trying to close the prison down and the vast majority of the abuses happened before his watch. I don't think a US President is supposed to directly involve himself in an ongoing trial.

He owned THE business that installed cell towers and when 9/11 hit, Jerry went to ground zero with his crews and set up auxiliary towers to handle the extra cell traffic there. That had to be akin to waking up every day and voluntarily going into hell. I worked demolition myself as an Iron worker, but that was an old steel mill, not a pit full of still smoldering rubble filled with scraps of fellow humans remains.
