It actually helps, I take blue pikmin with me in the distant spring or perplexing pool and other such caverns mostly as an insurance for my others when they fall in. You just have to disband them and they help save the others

There's a piece there where you have to navigate yellow pikimin over a ledge with water on either sides, I took about 5 minutes taking them all through, about 40 of them, threw them all to the piece, they came down, and landed in the water

sometimes, the blues will keep throwing a drowner against a wall, so they never die, but they keep drowning. and sometimes, a glitch makes them say FUCK IT

not literally. THe glitch has them throw the Pikmin (Red or Yellow) at a wall, and have them fall back in. so, the Blue is programmed to think it saved the Drowner, so it just doesn't help it.

You can actually use that to skip a certan part in Pikmin... 2, i think. It's hard though. Well, Not exactly skip, but do early. At the part In the Distant spring/Perplexing pool (don't remember which it is in 2), you can throw your yellows at the top of this one eletric gate surrounded by water, then use your blues to save them once it's down.

Actaully, if you get your yellows on the VERY top of the gate, it'll be down before you throw the blues in, so they'll be safe.

Sometimes I can bump aganst a drowning Pikmin and the Pikmin will start it's scream over and take longer to drown.

I can keep the Pikmin afloat forever this way.
