Actually that would not be true. The only thing that proves at this point is that it has been a male dominated society thus far (and still is to a subliminal extent). When men did it, it was because they were given the opportunity first. That is simply because at a baser level, it would take far less to implant the opposing genetic material into an egg than to build an egg cell out from scratch which brings us to another point. In this case, it would be a case of might made right and women had been oppressed for long up until the coming centuries where women are able to express their power which is equivalent to men.
