The Sony is a nice portable also I had one....I guess I am lucky at my location.. if your bothered with noise try some small antennas like a EWE / Flag antenna or I have been trying out a Magnetic loop for Shortwave it really works well see my other vids...cheers and thanks for watching Mark

Great video and excellent reception! Especially the Diego Garcia signal is incredibly strong and clear. Really stunning what the Eton G3 is capable of... Unfortunately, the G3 is not availabe in Germany, so one has to buy it abroad.
