@PanosOsbourne Well of course an old carrot isn't as good as new and fresh, but its still edible and good for you even if it lost some its nutrients. plus getting a new carrot would mean deplete the soil of its nutrients since the soil is where the carrot gets them, of course I'm talking on a wide scale. Though I live in the us and we tend to over produce things for no real reason, that's another reason I guess I get upset at wastefulness since I have to deal with it in daily life.
