I loved her sooo much I am going to order her first book, not sure I will cook much from it since the recipes are rich and fattening but I would like to have it just because I loved her story. Had no idea she had a husband and was so loved.

It's great that we have this record of Julia Child. She really changed the way we in the US cook and eat for the better. Who do we have now that can compare to her to guide us to better cooking and eating?

She was just fabulous, and one of a kind. Oh to be at one of her dinner partys. Such an incrediibly interesting lady, with a great passion for life, food, fun. No pretense, just a super personality who loves people who love food...as she said, that "Gustatory Pleasure Syndrome" now thats great!

Thank you so much for supplying this fantastic interview. Julia Child is such an amazingly sweet person. It's just a shame that she isn't here anymore. I don't care what other people say, her voice is great. It's just so iconic of her.

I agree about her voice. To me, Jackie Kennedy, Judy Garland, and Julia Child have the most mesmerizing female speaking voices I've ever heard.
