  • it seemed that you were speeding up in some parts... slow down

  • Try to go a little bit slower, so you don't miss any notes.

  • not bad, but your intonation!!! and you may should enjoy it more!

  • awesome job! :DD

  • I was able to play this once, after i had been playing for like 9 years. Can't belive I was ever able to play this.

And this little kid is showing me up haha.

  • many peaces can be played while you are a junior or when you are older!

  • I played this at 4th grade for this thing called junior youth orchestra in audition.

  • this is my favorite violin piece! good job kid!

  • I love it! You're my fan :D

  • Bravo !!!

  • wow you are doing very well and look young. i am learing this piece right now to audition for a youth symphony orchestra in my area... good job though... you have a LOT of potential... you are so young!!! it makes me smile...

  • Great job man

  • boring ! yngwie malmsteen playing it is alot better and this is not that great i agree with th3man

  • @michaellito1

dude =.=" He's just a little kid when he played this you retard. >:[

can u do better? i dun think so..

  • dats really good!

  • you could add a lot more dynamics in, and you might want some more articulation

  • yeah lance do u even know what ur talking about this kid looks likes he's 10 years old, hes only gonna get better

  • Bach is especially tricky because intonation is so important on his pieces. Although the performance was very good, there were a few weak spots, so I'd suggest toning it down to around 80 bpm and practicing for intonation. Remember, fast does not automatically mean good.

  • @Earth2Universe Do you know where I can find the music sheet for this concerto?

    thanks

  • @beltanboy

i got from my teacher's book. he copyed it for me. (it was free and legal)

I'll try to find the books name if you want. notify me if you want to know.

    Hope i helped!

  • Jeez, what are you talking about? Have you any idea how hard this tune is to learn? and how difficult it is to play even half decently?

Good work, keep it up and just ignore your detractors...they really are mean spirited nobodies who almost certainly can't play this half as well as you...

  • your a fuck tard he good

  • Whatever. I bet you know nothing about MUSIC! He is very good.

  • how arrogant can people be... most people I know make music together and they give constructive criticism...

with other words: shut the fuck up!

  • this boy is great for his age,

but you don't learn music by memorizing it,

    you learn by practicing.

    keep up the good work,

    and keep on practicing!!

  • sounds stiff...

  • beautifully played, although I must say, technically its seems good, only one thing, and that is articulation is yet to develop, but that will come when this boy gets older, music is emotion, nice tone, a few flaws here and there, but I like it, it is well performed, keep on playing!

  • he was nervous, thats why he spead up.

  • this is good... but a little too fast...=]

  • Oooouuu...WAY too fast. Try 80 bpm and not too much faster. That was about 110-ish, no? Also, the intonation needs a lot of work too...it sounded a bit skweeky. So, try practicing at around 40, then working up from that. In the end, it will work out a lot better for you.

  • sleightly too fast

  • jeezis christ, this kid is good! shiiit, when i was playing violin at his age, i still stunk. great work!

  • I know how to play the cello part of this song, and I was playing along with this video XD Great job on the song~

  • About 65 %. See David Oistrakh playing te same on YouTube

  • very nice!

I've played this along with the Bruch and the third movement of the Mendelsohn. And this song was a lot of fun. Keep playing!

  • good job.. im playing this piece for audition... I think u need to make it a little more expressive on that expressive part and also start with a piano at that part... it sounds more like mf-f

  • Good...but keep practicing

  • If he can play it and it sounds somewhat good, what the hell, let him play it. It is good to play harder songs. That is what will make him good.

  • nice... one suggestion is just to use less open E... there's room for improvement... but i've played this song for youtube... and knowing that it's gonna be on youtube for ppl to watch makes u nervous... so yeah.. good job.

  • alexakaluigi214 is right. Learning and understanding Bach's style takes time. Though playing the notes may be one thing, but playing the style of the piece gives beauty to it.

By the way he plays well for his age. :D

  • I think he plays very well. I play violin too and i´m learning this music now (i´m 15 years). Is this boy taking lessons with the suzuki method? I am and I know that in this method we memorize very concertos like this one. I hope he continues with the good work!

  • This child doesn't know how to play bach. He still has a lot to learn before playing piece of this difficulty! I played this piece a couple of years ago, it's been 10 years I've been playing violin, and I love Bach.

He is still couragoeus to play it, don't let go, work hard!

  • hey, i was playing that piece (before i stopped taking lessons), and let me tell you, you make me look very amateur. you even memorized it (which i could never do in a million years). great job!!! =)

  • i am a violin player for the last 5 years and i am playing this now. I am almost at the end of this 1st part. he is good for his age. by the way i'm 15:D

  • something tells me you're korean. it's my asian instinct. but if not...i guess it's let me down.

but that's crazy. keep up the good work. i play violin, but geez. put me to shame, why don't you =/

    ^^

  • haha...me too!!

i thought he was korean, too.......

    awesome!!

  • are u a siingapoean or ABC(American-born Chinese)

  • hi, I am a violin player for the last 18 (since the age of 9 years

    here's my opinion)

he plays very well for his age (i don't know how old he is)..

this is a hard song to play well... bach is a hard composer

although his music in the low range notes, compared to paginini or mendelssohn, bach's music is still hard to play in the proper fashion to sound good

i think it would have been good, if he slowed down a little bit

  • I have to agree with the shifting, some of those notes are out of tone because of the shifting. Also I suggest you try to work on the dynamics, it just seems that everything are in the same volume, keep up the good work. ^_^

  • daaamn... its good.... bravo bravo.. aZzZzZz

  • ur notes arn't in tune

    watch for the toneazation

and the shifting into 3rd position

  • toneazation lmao. sorry...i just found that to be hilarious =]

  • OistrakhMilstein

    wow your fucking gay.

Uhmm everyone has there own Opinion

i think this kids a genius

    Can you play violin

    i bet if you did

    u would suk

im sorry just get over yourself

  • Dont be so homophobic - if you dont agree with what someone has said dont start beong homophobic. You offend others then.

  • this kids good, but prodigy is going overboard

there are SO many people who are VERY adequate in managing their instruments...but this kids no prodigy

  • Nice.

  • Good job! Keep up the work, you do well. I enjoyed listening. :-)

  • nice going!

  • speechless...impressive...keep it up buddy..

  • ur a prodigy

  • I would be careful when saying someone is a prodigy unless they truly are

  • OistrakhMilstein's definition of a prodigy: A violinst who is either David Oistrakh or Nathan Milstein.

Just kidding. I know this kid is not, but your reactions, as always, are timeless.

  • you made me want to re-learn this.

watch for some intonation on shifting. and just work on some small phrasing. try to think of some of those lines and really long phrases... i don't know how to describe it, and I don't have the music in front of me.

oh, and the parts that its just you playing by yourself, try to sound more virtuostic. because there it truely isa solo, and it needs to be played with more authority.

  • aww just cut him some slack... it looks like he's around 12? or 10? idk... but just give him a break.. he's still young

  • gj on pwning, kid and great music. also this song is one of my favorites
