The people on "Penny's boat" come and kill them all. Jack needs to go back so that he can save everybody who survived until that time came. I don't know, just a thought. Also, Ben said once that the "they" were the good guys. It made all of us think that he was saying that the Others were the good guys and the 815 survivors were the bad guys.

I have a theory about what is happening. In this preview, it says that somebody (which could mean 2 people) will go back. Those 2 people are Kate and Jack. In the flashback (which I think is a flash forward) in the end of Season 3, Jack keeps saying that they have to go back. The answer to that: Time Travel. They need to go back *in time* to when they were all on the island, so they can save everybody.

I agree. The list Michael had was a small list probably just a ruse to get Jack so he could tend to Ben. Kate & Sawyer probably just pawns and Jurley the messenger. Remember Ana-Lucia found a list on one of the others that was killed? Jacob's list probably consists of those who could best defend the island along with the innocents, (the children).

The last 8 months have been so empty without Lost, and a long-ass time! I would've rather had two full seasons ending in 2009 than three shortened seasons ending in 2010, and now it looks like this season will be shortened even further.
