@jggrn Actually, the majority of homeless people who are either former vets or suffer from mental illness, which goes hand in hand with addiction. Stop judging, ass.
I can't afford beer and cigarettes because I have to pay rent, pay for car insurance, buy food and gas and supplies.. I am single with no kids and I work a full time job and a part time job. I get no government assistance or handouts. Working the graveyard shift every night so I can eat is not easy but it's life.
This is just an idea... Instead of spending your money on drinking and smoking, a few of you get together and spend that waisted money on an apartment. If they can live together in a camp, they should be able to share an apartment. JMO
@MBJB07 it's easy to 'just say no' when you are looking out of a bay window like nan was when she came up with that silly little slogan, these people are suffering and escaping the only way they can with what they have, it's just not an easy problem to solve.
damn dude i live in longview, my heart hurts watching this, even though i've never been homeless my gf of 7 yrs just dumped me and if i didnt get my job today i would be sitting right there in those woods or some other site in longview, i knew we had a lot of homeless but wow!
