  • Back before the web and obviously You Tube, gamers read the reviews in the games magazines, saw the screenshots and decided they'd go down to their independent games store and buy a copy. This is what I did. as well. When that full screen movie of that woman came up, it was a total surprise - as was the joy of hearing the adlib music! Those were the great days! Now, you get trailer after trailer and within a week of a game coming out you have "final scene" video's on You Tube! So 90's rule!

  • hey its the chick from candyman

  • i love how there is a little mouse shadow on the small moon in the title image. excellent attention to detail.

  • Perso je préfère la version Adlib. Les sons synthétiques collent mieux.

  • The intro text is one of the best of sci-fi movies.

  • I miss Cryo Interactive Entertainment...

  • "Spice extends life. Spice expands conciousness." Damn sounds like good ol' mary jane 2 me!

  • I think i'd almost pay just to heard the game's soundtrack played through an original Aglib GOLD soundcard.

  • one of the few games, where not only the amiga soundtrack sounds more impressive, but I think even the Adlib Sound on the PC is more atmospheric. Didn't pull the MT32 to its fullest....

  • Agree with poster - this is my favourite game soundtrack!

  • The Amiga soundtrack was really superior. I am not talking just about the quality it was a different soundtrack and captured perfectly the atmosphere.

  • @panathatube Looks like you haven't heard the adlib gold version ;] Its' a shame, that they screwed the mt32 version.

  • oooh how I loved this game

  • Sorry, but MT32 just makes me think the tune is being played on a small church organ! Listen to this will soundblaster and the emotion is 10 times higher.

  • The best is supposed to be adlib soundcard... I think this is the card that was used to compose these songs.

  • I remember this game big time, I was hooked on it. I remember laughing until it hurt when I had the Fremen killing the crap out of the enemy, the one dude (can't remember his name) says "Good to see these Harkonens beaten off"... obviously that sounds like something completely different than was implied, lol..

  • that was Stilgar

  • I remember I once played and finished this game nonstop overnight + I had to go to school with just 1 hour sleep :-) It was high school=no stress.

I already had finished this before but anyway I just grabbed the CD and it consumed me completely. The music, Voice acting, graphics - Love it all. Thanks for the video 5*

  • nice for a remake of the old one in short time

but the soundtrack from the amiga version kicks ass.

Also The MT-32 OST from ms dos version is better from all the others.

The question is , games evolved.

I missed the old years :(

  • Its been days since we heard from you, Mua'dib.

lol.. love this game. haven't played it in a while.

  • @1JAMROCK1

Yeah! The whole soundtrack is amazing anyway. It's called Dune Spice Opera.

  • I love its soundtrack.
