I'm pretty sure the only reason why this movie isn't good is because Bruce Campbell isn't the main protagonist. The only reason any of the Evil Dead/Army of Darkness movie worked was because of Bruce.

Hey, I just found out there's a horror movie about a bed that eats people and that one of the Amityville Horror sequels was about a haunted lamp, so "Death Scarf: The knot of doom" doesn't seem that bad.
Since this gypsy lady was so readily cursed the bearer of bad news who was only doing her job you figure MIss cursey did it alot.
Meter maids...cursed, men who didn't hold the door open for her....doomed to eternal suffering, deli workers who made the sandwitch too dry...hellbound.
I think the real message of this film is that those who have power over souls should get their anger under control.
@summers1 Adam Sandler did a pretty funny song once about that very topic, a voodoo lady who curses people who annoy her, though generally cursing them in minor ways (i.e. a leafblower guy who woke her up early with his blowing gets head lice, a cop who gave her a ticket gets a skin rash, etc.).
@summers1 The original adaption of this story, Curse of the Demon, was less anger management gypsy and more practitioner eager to demonstrate to nonbelievers. It's a pretty good movie for its time, check it out.

Since this gypsy lady was so readily cursed the bearer of bad news who was only doing her job you figure MIss cursey did it alot.
Meter maids...cursed, men who didn't hold the door open for her....doomed to eternal suffering, deli workers who made the sandwitch too dry...hellbound.
I think the real message of this film is that those who have power over souls should get their anger under control.

@summers1 Adam Sandler did a pretty funny song once about that very topic, a voodoo lady who curses people who annoy her, though generally cursing them in minor ways (i.e. a leafblower guy who woke her up early with his blowing gets head lice, a cop who gave her a ticket gets a skin rash, etc.).

@summers1 The original adaption of this story, Curse of the Demon, was less anger management gypsy and more practitioner eager to demonstrate to nonbelievers. It's a pretty good movie for its time, check it out.

@summers1 Truer words have never been posted anywhere on YouTube. I mean, who gets to drag this crazy old gypsy lady down to hell for the number of people SHE cursed? She's probably done so many that she now qualifies for her own concentric circle of hell on Dante's grid!
I like to think that if there's any justice, Christine spends all her down there shoving truckloads of buttons down this crazy old bat's throat.

How did people hate this movie? I mean, it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, even without the rifftrax. Which, of course, makes it a million times better.

@sokarsfleet Maybe but spidey 1 was the only good one for one reason- Macho Man Randy Savage as Bonesaw. "Bonesaw is READY!!!!!" This movie is still got to be one of the worst movies i've ever seen, the ending was gay. I mean come on the evil lady wins.
