can you use this pedal with the regular rb1 and rb2 drum sets? I was wondering because of the two bars that go across the bottom.

@ranDOMcaP1tAlizATi0n the pedal will work with an rb2 set but i dont know about an rb1 drum kit. all you have to do is take out one the bars from the drum kit. if it doesnt feel comforable then you can take out both bars but removing one bars should be enough.

ok i play expert drums and i watched the instructional video and mark said that for expert players move the chain to the left. I did this and after a while i went to put it back to its regular position and now the chain is all stretched out and when i press the pedal down it comes flying back up uncontrollably. I got my destroyer pedal and it is a new kind of pedal even though my pedal is dixon but its not all lines on the foot piece its says dixon in the middle but there is lines circling the dixon sign can u tell me the difference

No it does not as the GHWT kit uses different sensors. Look at my review called the Destroyer D review. New prroduct from Destroyer Pedal and it is for the GHWT.

(to Mydnytefantasy) are you talking about the rock band2 drums? if you are, then nothings wrong.its just your drums are knocking your batteries out of place for a split second and then letting you turn the kit back on. what i did was ripped a tissue to the size of the battery holder and put it in between the batteries and the thing you put over the batteries and it stops it completely because the tissue increases the thickness in between the batteries and the thing you put over the batteries.

the beater i guess is so you can hear the beats better... like get something to go in front of the beater and that way you can hear how accurate you are... this is just my guess, you'll have to look it up to know for sure

I feel noobish. What is the real purpose of the destroyer pedal? I know it is for the bass drum beats on rock band but why use it with or instead of the rock band pedal. Also If your Rock Band drumsticks break can you get more for free? Will regular drumming sticks work witht he drums?

First question. It is to replace the stock as the stock is prone to breaking with a lot of heavy use. Plus with the destroyer being a real pedal and not a piece of plastic on a spring, it gives a natural feel as well as less fatigue which means improvement of scores. Second question. If you break your sticks a regular pair will work. I would recommend size 7A or 5A nothing bigger:)

I would much rather see you play the 4-6 [can't remember] really fast drum hits from ...And Justice for All to really see if this is worth the money. I am unable to hit all of those kick drum hits successfully.. I can hit the majority of them and have on very rare occasion hit them all perfectly with the regular drum pedal. This really does seem worth it, but with GH4 and RB2 comming out, im not sure which to get, im thinking of getting the pedal and buying the RB2 disk.. please reply in message

How does that clack the Destoyer has compare to the noise the stock pedal makes?

The Destroyer really does not have a clack. The pedal that clacked was the Rock Pedal when you do not have the foot board high enough above the clamp. You really will not notice any noise with the destroyer. There is a little light thud but nothing major. The Stock is louder than The Destroyer.
