When I'm having a bad day or just need some spitirual reinforcement I go toYoutube and play this song. I love the words, the music and Tim's voice! There just aren't the right words......! Thank you moondoggy22 for putting it here. I'm a little slow at learning what YouTube has to offer, but I'm getting there. Been a Gaither fan for years and thus a Signature Sound fan but haven' heard this song til just recently. I'll catch up one of these days. barby348
Love these guys, they are truley the best SOUTHERN GOSPEL QUARTET, that I have ever heard. Sorry to hear Tim Duncan, had to leave the group. He will truley be missed. May God Bless Ernie Haase and Signiture Sound. May God also bless Tim Duncan and his family. The best Bass Singer I have ever heard!! We miss you Tim.
george and glen was and would still be proud of ernie and the guys for keeping these old songs going and sounding like them since ernie is georges son-in-law thank you ehss for all you are doing and traveling so many miles to keep singing for the lord and the fans you have done a wonderful job cant keep from crying just listening to them sing this song A+
This is the most beautiful song, it brings tears. This is my favorite group, I love their joy in the Lord, and their devotion. I don't listen to any other group as much as these guys, and I would love to see them live.
I have a question. Do these gospel singers all sell personal souvenirs? The Ryan Seaton group sent me letter from Ryan's store (?) offering tee shirts, hats and cups. This surprised me and it's the reason I'm asking. I love all these guys, especially Doug and Timmy. All have phenomenal talent and I so hope I can attend one of their concerts someday. Thanks for the great videos.
If you've ever watched the movie Passion Of Christ, and then listen to this song you will get the most perfect picture in your mind of what Jesus went through and did for us, just amazes me, just a pure Blessing!!!!
One of the best bass singers ever. It's not so low that you can't appreciate the melody. It is perfect! I love all these singers and thanks for the video, Moondoggy!!! Beautiful song!
This is such a holy song I noticed the very exhuberant Ernie refrained from going, "whoo" as he loves to do. I love him for his reverence in this song.
a great song written by Gary McSpadden and made popular by the Catherdals..but these guys do a great job on it, and sing with a lot of spirit and feeling!
I did notice...Tim and Doug...I think all of them had tears in their eyes...I know I do...how can we not though, with that message and song...just imagine...thanking Jesus in person, touching his hands and feet...wow! I am in awe just thinking about it...
agree, over 18000 views of this. they should watch the cathedrals version from back in the day if they want to hear what this song should sound like. just saying.
Tim Duncan one of the best bass singer around. Aaron Mccune is good too but sometimes he sounds like his voice is coming from a cracked barrel. He immitates Tim Riley
I saw these fine young christian men in Orlando 1-26-08 and what a fantastic group. What a beautiful song with so much meaning. "That Great Judgement Morning" what a day that will be.
Ernie Haase founded the group "Ernie Haase and Signature Sound", in 2002. I know it doesn't seem that long but it is true. The Cathedral Quartet ended 1999 and Ernie did a solo concerts for a couple of years. Check out ERNIE HAASE from Wilkipedia, the free encyclopedia. They are a FANTASTIC GROUP of good christian men.
Signature Sound was actually founded by Garry Jones, who hired Ernie Haase as tenor. Garry soon left to found another new group called Mercy's Mark, and that is when Ernie took over.
Though there is certainly a contrast between the Cathedrals & EHSS. I would hope we can agree that EHSS is certainly a fantastic group. Growing up on Southern Gospel, I quickly learned there is just nothin' like a good ole' Catherals concert but do have to say EHSS is the next best thing. Ernie, i'm sure, is using much of what he learned/observed in how he 'orchestrates' his group. In the end, isn't it the message of each piece is what it's about? Why get hung up on the trivial, just enjoy it.
my dad was listening to this song on the newest EHSS CD and the next song on the CD was "get away jordan". after listening to "the plan of salvation", and when "get away jordan" has started, dad was shocked, he said: "who sings here? i thought it was the cathedrals. i thought that the bass singer is george..." :))) ha...
'Plan of Salvation' -- What a beautiful song! I don't know the names of the guys in the quartet except for Ernie Haase, for I met him years ago in Louisville, KY. I know I'm only 23, but he left a lasting and great memory on my soul, forever I'll follow him. I will follow Jesus and hope that all folks out there will too...Praise be to Ernie Haase and all his friends, I see they have alot of new videos, I hope to see them soon in concert.
'Plan of Salvation'...What a message!!!! Signature Sound, (Ernie Haase too!) To put these beautiful words to music, and the vocals are wonderful, the finest YOUNG Quartet in the business! These guys let me know that Christian Music is alive and well! PTL!!!!
I saw them on April 20, 2007 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. I met both quartets. They were all awesome. I was very close to the front and when they all walked in I shook Bill Gaither's hand and Ben Speer and Janet Paschal. The concert was a little over four hours and beyond good. Ernie and the Sig. Sound were the best in my opinion.

The Bass is actually pretty good, but listening to the rest is like being forced to listen someone run their fingernails across a blackboard.
I could not help but think of how much I miss the Cathedrals (pre-Ernie era) while watching this clip.
