  • @InsanityHere Start out on a light bike that has enough power to lift the front wheel by rolling on the throttle and ALWAYS hover your foot over the rear brake just incase you go beyond the balance point you can hit the brake to bring the front down before you loose all the skin off your butt. I've been over backwards at least six times or so on dirt bikes, and I've learned gravel hurts! Pavement hurts worse so I've heard, I don't want to find out for myself, so knock on wood.....

  • @InsanityHere I'm not a cop. I was 27 when this video was shot. My neighbor was also impressed, and he's a cop! I have been riding since I was 4. I will be doing another video sometime with the trunk and saddle bags off soon. I will most likely do it at the drag strip to see how far I can ride it. Last time I had it at the track I ran the 1/4 at 127mph in 11.27sec. I think If I ride the clutch I can get it into the high 10's.

  • @mds9185 Most impressive. I would sure like to learn to do wheelies on my '83 V65 Magna.

I bought it with low miles, late last year, and have since put 5K miles on it.

Do you have any tips for an older man who wants to start doing wheelies?

  • nice... but next time do it without the trunk on! It's a bit harder to hold it up without the trunk balancing it out.

  • I can do this. All except for the wheelie part.

  • I don't think "balls" more like "stupidity"... I'd used a sport or stunt bike for that. Also on a track or closed course. Remember, normal traffic won't be expecting this kind of behavior on a public roadway. The car or truck always wins in this situation when you make a mistake. With this kind of thinking, a good helmet is being put to waste.

  • @viggoM35 Please don't judge so harshly. Look at that road. It's not the Washington DC beltway or anything like that.

And the rider showed good skill on that 7 or 800 pound bike (whatever it is).

I bet it was a cop. A cop that can ride wheelies.

  • @viggoM35 Guess you haven't viewed any of your own videos lately? At least this person wears a helmet....

  • @tangledline Well.. let's see... um... I have one video where I am showing a demo of a bike for sale riding at 5 mph tops, and in a court. Which is a dead end street. So I'm not riding wheelies nor doing excessive speeds on a busy public street or highway.

  • @viggoM35 Well lets see um..How bout accelerating with a phone in your hand taking video? Would a college professor think its stupid? Yes. Would a 17 year old german kid think its stupid? No. You put it together.

Hey I have been the pot and kettle many times-but I admit it. take care and cover that melon and buy a GoPro.

  • BALLS OF STEEL

  • Pap´s just bought a Honda 1300, time to go on a roadtrip for a couple of weeks in europe ;) We went to norway with the Yamaha xj900 (yeap, the rare version. A trailer backed into the beast and the front mudguard shattered in pieces along with the brake thingy that locks the front suspension when braking. After some ducktape and a quick check in a database at the bike repair we found out that there were only 3(!) mudguards in europe, none of em were watching colours..)

  • That is very impressive, and the Brass Balls Award goes to! They guy on the ST riding big ass whoolies!

  • i agree with areafift105.... you have the balls...

  • Dang, take the bags off of it first

  • SWEEEEET

  • Little bit of wobble at the end though...

  • hahahahaha... freaking hilarious! nicely done!

  • I've got an 07 ST and I'm here to say you've got balls. these bikes are not as easy to stand up as a little sport bike.
