No she didnt, she used a flashy effect you can download from many wmm forums, its an added effect it's been around for years xD

i did mine all manually though...it was hard lol!

To do the flashes manually, you cut the scene you want as short as possible. You then add fade to black or white on the clip. Copy and paste the same shortened clip in front of it, and pull it out a little bit. Then cut it as short as possible going right. Do the same thing for as long as you want the clip to show.
