My son and I did a last minute 200 mile round trip to watch Gomez last night because we enjoy them so much. They are without doubt the best British band currently going. That is a FACT and I only deal in FACTs. FACT. Spread the word.

@MegaPapa1968 Whilst I partially agree that Gomez may have not achieved widespread recognition for their undeniable talent ,well not since the mid 90's it may surprise you to know that they have been recognised by their musical peers, by being one of the first recipients of the Mercury music prize.

I discovered Gomez and Tijuana Lady in the summer of 1999 while driving from LA to Ensenada ,Mex. on a mini vacation. Three weeks later Gomez was in my Discman as I flew to Europe. Brings chills to me now because that was a awesome summer and Gomez was part of what made it awesome.
