Terminal G and A are the international terminals at SFO. I flew to Germany with United last year and we checked in Terminal G and also departed from "G". I also think that terminal G is your terminal. It doesn't matter if you exit the train on "A", A and G are in the same hall. I hope I could help you. For further information, the following terminals at SFO are intended for domestic flights: Terminal 1, 2 (under renovation) and 3.

This is free. JFK has a similar train system but they charge 5 bucks.

The Airtrain is great. I do all sorts of spotting from the stations and I am hardly ever hassled. Just one time.

I live in the Bay Area and ride Caltrain to Great America frequently during the Summer. I don't ride this very often. I have no business at the airport, I'd look SUSPICIOUS...
