Well, ok, beautiful voice, but she sings likes she's in an opera house, without any "feeling" or emotion...I don't get it. Wonderful voice and a great performer (she's obviously practiced and she's a professional) but nonetheless, nothing more. She sings exactly the same way in every song! Cold and soulless. My opinion anyway, don't mean to offend anyone.

But you shouldn't make such affirmations before listening to Tarja's full discography, with and without NW. Saying that she things the same in every song is just wrong dude. Listen to Nemo, Elevenpath, The Phantom at the Opera, there's more emotions there than you can handle.

She still sounds cold to me. A good and trained voice should always be recognised though.

I mean Tarja wont loose her beauty nor singing talent. but my buddy got me into Nighwish like less than a month ago and after like 2 songs I was like so obbsesed with them downloaded there whole discography. But its cause Tarja has an AMAZING voice and the drummer of nighwisher could sing good and was amazing at drumming. Bottom line is, Tarja ur nothing without Nightwish and there nothing without u. To me I think her music is a little dull. Her voice is utterly Fucking Astounding don't get me wrong. But there's just something missing for me. They happened to me when I was in an area band, and I've seen them happen to Tarja in videos (like a dead wireless mic that her husband ran from behind the curtain and replaced). I don't recall her blaming the place. When dealing with the mixers, mics, monitors, transmitters, cords, etc. things are bound to go wrong sometimes.
