Cela dit, cette version de version (all young gods styles confondus) est un très bon moment, surtout pour les rires et la simplicité des bonhommes (comme d'hab' en fait).
Reznor influencé par les Gods ? Rien de surprenant, ils ont montré le chemin à une époque où ils bossaient avec des magnétophones et/ou un ordinateur atari poussif (regardez la video de "Rue des tempêtes", vous comprendrez ce que je veux dire) :)
Et c'est leur imagination qui a fait (et fait toujours) la différence, pas la qualité du matos. ;)
first got into The Young Gods in the late eighties, saw them a few times in London and kinda drifted away from them in the haze that was the dance revolution. Have re-discovered them in recent years and come full circle to realise afresh how innovative and off-the-wall they are. L'Amourir is for me still the most mind bending and out-there piece, awesome. Ayahuasca huh?? You can take the indian out of the Amazon, but you can't take the Amazon out of the indian.., keep shining :-)
I saw them twice in Portugal, Once in Porto ( Hard-Club) and another one in a summer festival in the north of Portugal, Incredible experiences. I hope to have the oportunity to see them again soon.
