I love the color of your hair..i'm rocking burgundy brown on my whole head by Feria myself. I get my hair done about once or twice a yr too and I was thinking of the two tone as well.. What do you do about the curly naps at the back of your head when you do an updo? i tend to shave them or try and twist it or tie it down..Any suggestions?

Oooh I bet that color is very pretty on you! It's funny you should ask about the lil unhappy nappys at the nape of the neck. I actually do the same thing, lol. I will take a razor and give myself a line in a minute!! If you try and catch all of those baby hairs, it may be too tight to deal with. Hope this helps. *smiles* and thanks for watching! =)

Gosh how cool is this, never expected you to answer so quickly. I 've watched your channel for a while now and think you are too funny. From the bad loctician to Nubian Kinks poor service( i went and got that pomade for sure) & spirals& make up in the bathroom. You have learned to style the heck out of your hair diva. Keep it coming! I'm loving it all. BTW I cheat occasionally with pipe cleaner in the mornings. I sleep on a satin pillow ,then rub oil 'n water on the locs and use one.

When you started your locs.... how did you deal with the frizzies and the ups and downs of the locs during the beginning stage while also working in a professional work environment? I am currently at a cross roads and cannot decide if i want traditional (small/micro sized) locs or if i want to go with sisterlocks. Any input would be great

I have my locks now for 4 to 5 years i must say that they are looking ok, very slow growing locks tho but resently they seem to be getting real thin at the roots, I do not twist often at all,do not know if it has anything to do with my diet altough I do eat good, or do i need to use some special products or something?, Can you help me please koko.

We both started our locs at the same time; May 18 2008 for me.Unfortunetly I had to comb mine out in January 2011. I couldn't afford to have a loctician do them anymore and when I did them myself the roots still looked puffy and untouched. Plus my hair started greying really fast and all that hair was too much to dye. So I ended up picking them out.

Hi there! I have never shaved my locs. You think they look perfect...well bless your heart, *smiles* To maintain my parts, I never go that long without doing a retwist (I retwist every 4-6 wks). Thanks for your watching =)
