Hi. I thought that I was making bulgogi when I bought the marinated meat in an asian supermarket. The Korean girl said to wrap it up in red leaf lettuce leaves with denjang sauce. Is that the traditional way?
Sorry that we didn't put the weight of the meat. We used about 3lbs of sliced beef in this video.

sorry if i missed it but i don't think you mention how much beef is in this recipe (4 adult servings).
are you using 1 pound or a pound and a half of beef or what?

Jintonica, You can use beef sliced really thin. Any cut will do but the more lean the better.

Bierreisender, Yes, you can use any kind of lettuce. I prefer Romaine. Use gochujung paste with the meat and a little rice, wrap and eat. Yummy!
