i have a question...is it possible to show a different video on part of another video...my teacher showed me how to do it with a still picture and a video but that was on adobe premiere elements 7 and thats a very different format...please help me...

In order to have premiere elements, do you need photoshop? And where did you get the green screen?

I got it working on my little laptop. You have to change the playback settings from 2:3: Interlaced (whatever that is) to ABBCCD. Then it plays smoother. Right click the player and go playback settings.

first of all thank you for this tutorial. totally nailed the opacity fixed effect part, however, i'm having trouble with the motion effect, the one that has another screen on the left, i got the crop part but how did you capture it in that angle? I mean it was zoomed while the original clip gabriella was like way far.

@HawaiianYeti Premiere 9 needs a powerful computer 8gig ram 2GHZ processor, good video card. My slower computer (1ghz 2gig) doens't work with premiere 9

@tamaramacrae1990 Final Cut is for mac ( I hear) , you can download premiere trial for free and see if it works. They put a watermark on the video, that's all. try it out.

Is there a tutorial that explains how to take a 45 minute video and reduce it to 15 minute clips? Youtube only accepts video's upto 15 minutes.

i dont get it like say i want to rotate an item but i dont want to rotate just 90 degrees you see im trying to put muzzle flashes from action essentials 2 in it but i cant rotate the muzzle flashe to fit the gun and i looked on motion and it only rotated at a 90 degree angle.

Sir....once you finish editing, the final video still looks nice hd if you recorded hd??? i mean when i edit with windows movie maker the ending video looses all the hd quality...i just wanna know before buying this premiere...Thanks...

@cocolia6828 It depends on how you export your footage. Even windows movie maker is capable of exporting High Defenition outputs.

@TrappedinSociety if you right click the clip you would like to speed up and then click on 'Time Stretch'. then you can rise the clip speed above 100% to make it faster.

This elements cannot export as an AVI....drives me crazy. It was so easy on the other premieres, but I have just given up on this one. Export is grayed out and if you go to share it's FLV, MPEG2, etc....NO AVI. I just don't get it. :-O

ok, i'm sorry, but this is really lamee . i've been pulling myy hairr outt for a whilee trying to figuree out how to layer clips and how to do jump cuts , and this doesnt explain itself good enough . and then of coursee u say that there's a video that covers layring when funny storyy theres nott . this sucks and its not a good tutorial for beginners .

Adobe offers absolutely NO support for their worthless program. You have to pay them to get them to try to explain why Premiere Elements doesn't really do what they say it does. Do not get caught by purchasing something that DOES NOT WORK.

my problem is Vegas has a problem with avchd render.
