@50YearOldTeenager , I got a great view in September flying South from London to Malaga so saw it from the other direction for a change. Enjoy your trip its well worth the visit.
@JimmyTheJiveBunny By habit I used to sit on the right side of the plane and on journeys back to London noticed a large lake each time, I looked it up on Google maps and then noticed it was not far South of the Sad Hill area. Next time I sat on the left side and starting looking after passing Madrid and after a few minutes spotted the distinctive Pena de Carazo formation. I'd also noticed on my visit to Sad Hill a constant stream of aircraft passing suggesting it was on a major flight path
The action take place in the highlighted area at 1:14 the arrows just show the viewing direction of overlayed stills. In fact many of the locations look smaller than in the movies due to use of wide angle lenses.
This is fantastic! I've driven there from the UK and the shots are just as you describe them. Well done for recognising it when you flew over too. First class.
Many thanks for that, hope to get down there by Motorcycle sometime in the next couple of years :-)

Great Video, I want to visit the Sad Hill site myself, but how did you know you were flying over this location.

Interesting... How come the arrows are so far apart after showing Eastwood and Wallach at the same location?
