Do you think they will ever reveal Pat's gender to us? I personally don't think it's funny when they keep a person's gender a secret. In general, others need to know your gender because sometimes men and women don't qualify for all the same things as each other.
@cbsteffen are you fucking kidding? do you even know what gender is? because it's different from a biological definition (sex.) i grew up loving this movie but now realize it's a total exploitation of the social construction of gender. sometimes men and women don't qualify for all the same things? gender is the sex with which you identify. if you are a girl and you typically do "girl things" like makeup you are identifying with the female gender. but it does not make you a woman.
