Rock and Roll "evolved" from various combinations of different musical styles. including jazz, blues, country and folk. Disco "evolved" in part by combining the melodic bassline of Funk with the thumping, repetative rhythm of "Go-Go" music, then later adding synthesized strings.

If music didn't evolve then we wouldn't have so many thousands of different musical styles that have evovled over the years. I love Disco too, by the way!

i agree i think 2days music is taking a turn for the worst...i like hip hop, but mainly the rnb/jazz/soul side of it like they're the 1's with meaning and i dnt like the mainstream stuff too much and i listen to 9th wonder and little brother because i beleive thats real music in terms of rnb/soul side of hip hop the easy listening side of it. i make beats but like rnb/soul and i want to try and make an effort to save todays generations' music! i agree i think 2days music is taking a turn for the worst...i like hip hop, but mainly the rnb/jazz/soul side of it like they're the 1's with meaning and i dnt like the mainstream stuff too much and i listen to 9th wonder and little brother because i beleive thats real music in terms of rnb/soul side of hip hop the easy listening side of it. i make beats but like rnb/soul and i want to try and make an effort to save todays generations' music! (im 16 btw)

Hey, Disco rocks, Just to let you ppl know I'm only 35 yrs old and was never introduced to the whole disco era thing because of my age, but must say the music of today has no comparison to music of the 70's...If only we can bring disco back.....Go disco music.
