Lulu is a fabulous singer and this is a brilliant song but you have say it sounds a little flat when you compare it to Tina Turner's version. I'm a Tina fan so perhaps I'm a little biased but it's one of TT's biggest hits and yet she refuses to sing it live because of it's sad nature - she just isn't that kind of singer!
What a song Lulu! People have got to realise you wrote this song and yours is always going to be the superior version. Ive just included it in my Fe-mix playlist and youre in good company!

I know that LuLu wrote this song but Tina Turner sang it straight from the heart with a soulful/rock performance and made it her own.
