Okay when there is no name to the trail then it isn't a trail!!! You should have taken your rock climbing gear with you -- would have been safer. Me I prefer to ski when I'm in Vail or Aspen... This is definitely too extreme hiking for me... Glad you're safe in LA LA Land w/ EmCee Nugget - he seems safer, or is he???? he he
That kinda freaked me out...that was quite a slide you would have had there with one mis-step! So what trail was that? I wanna know so I can be sure and NOT GO THERE!!!!
@MistandStone Hey - there WAS NO TRAIL name. That's the SCARY part. That was my friend Stealth for ya. He didn't need no stinkin' trails... He still doesn't I'm sure... But I am now tucked safely away in LA LA Land, and in no danger of venturing where no man has gone before! But the AREA is called Bair Ranch - between Glenwood Springs and Vail (but closer to Glenwood).

@krismcconville oh yes... hike it I did... no. Up and over would have required ropes... which we use for rock climbing... not for hiking... not unless we have BEEN there and know the place. It was lunacy...
