More than You think You Are... these guys were getting better and better in the first 3 albums... the 4 members formation are not that bad in the latest album Exile on Mainstream.. but it's just not the same without Adam Gaynor..

@marusia949 As far as my knowledge of Rob's feelings on his music goes, is that everything he wirtes has personal meaning, but he also feels the point of great art is for every person to make it their own. I personally think the song is an ode to existence, because no matter who the relationship is with (whether that of a god and a mortal or that of two people) it's taking a step back and being humble as saying "hey, I am nothing without you". :)

They had such a good modern rock sound but also payed tribute and respect to the classic vibe. Unique and awesome. Losing one of their guitarists ruined them IMO

Its a shame that most people think group matchbox with bands like third eye blind, three doors down, and nickelback. if people looked past the stereotypical label of mainstream pop they would discover an enormous talent and a catalogue that can withstand the test of time.

Third Eye Blind, Three Doors Down, Nickelback. These bands have enormous talent, as well. Nickelback is fronted by a phenomenal vocalist. Although I don't care for TDD or Nickelback's music, they are very talented. Third Eye Blind is my favorite band and Matchbox is my second. They are some of the most talented people in the business. But you're right. There is a blemish on bands that are considered "mainstream pop"...

Of all the Matchbox tunes this is my favourite. I was lucky enough to see this exact tour. It was one of the best concerts i have ever been to. My girlfriend and i r huge fans, she even says i look like Rob lol. These guys r the real deal and we will be talking about them till we die. Keep rockin Rob and Matchbox 20. Fans for life!

I totally agree. Every fan of Matchbox 20 that I know of lists this song as one of their favorites by the band, yet it never became one of their big hits. I just don't understand!

I love pretty much every song that Matchbox 20 produces, but this one has been my favorite since the moment I first heard it. And that is rare. And amazing, different variations like this live version help keep it fresh. Brilliant!
