@601023 to 'hart' reset your 'fone' press keep both volume buttons pressed and start the 'fone'. then you'll see the android logo with a warning sign in the background. press the home soft key and you'll see a menu with "reboot now", "apply update", "wipe data/factory reset" etc .

@busyzubee dude u can install stuff on the memory card... just go to manage applications clkick on the app and click MOve to SD Card.... not all apps move.. majority do..

Homescreen lag: It's not the phone... it's the problem of MotoSwitch! Download a launcher from market and it should be fine :)

@Bogdanbas The problem is that some applications can be in installed only on internal memory. Some apps can be moved with an applcation.

@Ityoube I do know how to root an android phone but I haven't tried to do that on this phone yet. I was actually waiting for a ROM specifically made for this phone model, which is still not available.

@shiccobon Don't even think about buying the Samsung Pro. Its nothing compared to this phone. The only phone in the same price bracket and features is the LG Pro which has almost the same specs with just a little faster processor.

1- is this phone is better than galaxy pro in (processor speed,phone memory and benchmark test) ?

2- in egypt where i live, moto fire less than galaxy pro in price by 50 USD ,so,did you think it is still better than galaxy pro?

3- you're talking about the most important thing which is (the android market),which i will buy the phone for, so, forcing me to install applications on memory phone will pissed me off,so,

Hi, this is my current #1 choice at this budget, but I have to know something before I get it. How well does skype (or other voice call apps) work over 3G (mobile internet)? I am getting a data plan from my carrier to be able to call phones from my cell in other countries so this really matters to me. If anyone can find out and share the news I'd be oblidged.

PS. The other choice is a Galaxy 'Y' (S5360) but I prefer the qwerty keyboard (plus the B5510 isn't available yet).

@Stanmihai10 Galaxy Y Pro just became available yesterday in my country so I ordered one (but at a slightly higher price than both Fire and Y which have the same price). I hope everything turns out fine with Y Pro, because I would have loved to be able to shoot VGA video with the Fire instead of just a lousy 240p the Y's have :(

I am also reading that they all lack flash support! Not too big an issue, but still it's quite silly since they have relatively high-clocked cpu's!

one month back i purchased Motorola mobile(Model XT311). i am facing many problems- unexpected switch off, hanging,no proper voice recording, unexpected screen saver change,very slow operation,Ear phone connecting problem,while playing music unable to do another operation , while connecting ear phones immediate closing of running application,and many more problems.MY personal suggestion please dont by this mobile

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Pro for my relative a couple of months ago - he wanted a touch-and-type Android. I think I would have gone for this phone instead, if it had been released then. But the slow home-screen is surely a bummer. I'm surprised to see that because my LG Optimus One (and the Samsung Galaxy Pro) has a lot more apps and a lot less memory, but still is nowhere as slow as this one is with far fewer apps!
