  • I own the original and the sheath is a lot better. It doesn't slip like that.

  • i have one similer the shelth is black the handle is black the back of the handle is a compass and the knife has a serated edge on the spine of the knife

  • its garbage i know that and im only 18

  • @TheSlevaslava , I never claimed it wasn't, its just a cheap copy of a U.S air crew knife.

  • it's good quality ?

  • lol wi saw your video after i buy this pice of shit but i only pay 20 dollar (Ca) but it cut pretty good foir a cheap knife i think that i gona buy a becker bk2

  • The real deal (Ontario Survival, U.S. Military Issue) looks to be of better quality and not too expensive. The sheath looks better too, although the clasp is still in the same place. But as far as the actual knife goes: it's carbon steal, five inches, decent leather on the grip, and all made in the USA. Looks like a good knife for under $60.

  • Wow.. that makes the real ones look amazing.. What a hunk of shit! Awsome review though.... keep up the cool vids.

  • ACAB

  • Good review Mike. You taught me something valuable, don't get that knife. :)

  • on his hand is a tattoo : ACAB

    xD

  • china knock off. Really. Just look at the quality of the leather......... truly that knife you got is a china knock off. , That same knife you got has a much better version. Please email me if you need info, I would love to help you find the correct knife.

  • @warforlips Its cool, i knew it was a copy, this is a U.S Air Crew "STYLE" Knife, just a cheap copy. i never claimed it was the genuine article.

  • @warforlips whats the difference between a china knock off and a real one? its still full tang right?

  • @FlamingFury5 First off the knock off is a simple piece of sheet metal stamp cut from low grade steel plate. Whether a knife made from a piece of low grade metal is full tang or not it's still a piece of low grade metal; not high grade forged steel.

Secondly it's such a cheap copy it's falling out of it's sheath. The real one will hold an edge better and take a hell of a lot of abuse. Just check out the other videos for the real pilot's survival knife. Night and day difference.

  • @KEM451 yea but how can u tell whether its real or fake before ordering one?

  • How long do you think it will be before you can make it

  • @smolderedbobcat - within a week.

    Mike.

  • @ wepons collector can you do a video on the survival kit for where the sharpener is at please.

  • @smolderedbobcat , Cool o.k mate i will make that video,

    Mike.

  • @ wepons collector i have the original gave to me by my father who was a pilot. Can you please do a video on survival kit to put where the stone is at thanks

  • I agree with Gerardgilbert. I bought one of those thinking it was the original camillus and used it for batoning once and it snapped. After that I got a real camillus pilot knife and love it

  • If you are only going to butter toast it would be ok. If my life depended on it I would throw it away! Get an Ontario it will last you the rest of your life with little care!

  • Hate the sheath, and i mislike the spiked topp, im more a fan of serration type, but other then that the blade seems like its goot a fine edge, and a good grip. I personaly would like something with a litle thicker blade thoug

  • Nice Knife!!! Wait If Its Made In Tiwan Why Is It US Air Knife???

  • its in the style of a US air knife

  • It's not, the issued AF Survival Knife was made by Camillus and Ontario, both are made in New York, it's a knock off.

  • read the video title - U.S Air Crew Style Survival Knife - "Style" = meaning its not original.

yes its a knock off, i never claimed it wasn't.

Hope you still liked the video.

    Mike.

  • I have one just like that, except mine is the Ontario version, not the cheap version like that is. I've modded mine a little by dyeing the sheath a more dark brown instead of that sickly vomit color it comes with. The Ontario version still has the clasps towards the top of the pommel which is stupid, but it holds in pretty tightly. All around I find this to be a good knife.

    Soap.

  • sik knife bro!

    Colin

  • nice beard lol its cool

  • let us see your face....

  • Maybe soon, there are 3 videos on my channel that feature my face,

  • hey you should buy a kabar usmc fighting knife which is about 60 usd and is an amazing knife do a review and a video comparing the two (just what i would like to see)

  • this is better than the one before i like this man

  • I would drill out the rivit and move it down. You could re-rivit it or stich it.

  • Great Idea , and very simple,

    Mike

  • Thanks Mike. I had to do this with several of my knife sheaths. Most recently my K-bar 7" and my Becker BK9.
