  • Love your garden. Great job on the repurposing and use of stuff like your tree whips and the toilet as a strawberry pot and use of door screens for filters! That's wonderful you are awesome! Love garlic! Thanks for sharing your ideas and video! Goodluck to you!

  • my family and i live in the middle of france and we have a similar aproach to gardening and it works for us, good job and good luck with it

  • very very nice

  • The Home made potting shed, dry space, sleeping room for the summer= Man room. just needs a root cellar to keep beer cool and its perfect :)

  • I enjoyed the tour of your garden. You have a lot to work with. I am doing some container gardening this spring. Right now I am composting to prepare for organic gardening.

  • I just stumbled onto your video looking for something specific and this impressed the shit out of me, man. I'm jealous, because that's the kind of thing I want to do myself in the spring: build the most perfect in every possible way garden, that I built and engineered everything myself.

Good on you. You must feel exponentially more proud than you seemed in the video.

  • @j0phus What a kind comment to leave, thanks for that. There isn't any need to be jealous, really there is nothing about the garden that I would describe as hard or expensive to accomplish. Almost everywhere people live there is some scrap wood or inexpensive wood around, and seeds for plants are inexpensive. If you enjoy digging then you can build raised beds easily for very little cost. I hope you take a shot at doing this for yourself, you'll be amazed how easy it is! Best to you.

  • this look like me dream!

  • How do you protect against rats/rodents/mice?

  • might i say this extremely awesome what your doing. how much land do you have to use here?

  • Wow. You're a real McGuyver.

  • A wonderful garden. You use some very resourceful growing techniques. Can't wait to see the updates!

  • thank you for the tour and i learn from it

  • Hey fella, what a great little place have. I'm gutted I don't have my own place. I've been planting stuff all around Hamburg (Germany) city on the sly.

Some great ideas. I hope you don't mind me asking how did you get you place and how big is it.? I presume with 1000 garlic heads you will be planning to sell some, do you have a plan to make a little cash too?

  • That's the whole idea! I hope something from the video is useful to you. I plan to put up more videos like this as things progress, share notes on what works and what doesn't.
