@duckgeezer I own a 2006 Hayabusa , my friend has 2007 R1 , we swap bikes sometimes & i feel the R1 definitely accelerates faster and is more nimble in handling & brakes. The Busa may have the legs after 300 km/h , but we dare not go that fast on the highway , just a few acceleration squirts here & there :)

It can be even a 600cc (Honda CBR 600 RR, CB 600 F, CBR 600), Kawasaki, or any others. Cars are much more fantastic than bikes. They have luxury, charmous, are expensive, you can relaxe and you don't fall if desequilibrate. Bikes have only wheels, and they're done to fall. One day they win.

It's something called shifting WITH the clutch and not ruining the gearbox, making you spend loads of money stripping the engine down, replacing the gearbox and then having to buy all new engine seals. An expensive and tiring job, I refuse to fix gearboxes for people who have been shifting without the clutch now. It's too tiring, and then they come back a few weeks later, yet I've warned them what happens.
