  • Each time I watch this movie I hope that Tristan comes back before Susannah's marriage with Alfred or that Susannah really waits for Tristan forever. But it never happens.

  • =( so sad

  • The movie would've been enhanced if they showed a scene where all 3 brothers run a train on Susannah, the whore.

  • @TheDucciano ahahhahahaha good one

  • i,m harder man but icry see this movie?

  • And..... in the near future, the worst relations betwen the family start World War III....

  • i was confused in this movie cause i wasn't sure if Tristan really loved Susannah, he seduced her even before his young bro died

  • I feel really sad for Tristan when his wife dies... he was really pissed off and susannah is crazy she could have been with tristan but she married alfred then commits suicide

  • @woodburygurl123 : Susannah loved Triston with all her heart. She realized it later that Triston was no singing bird but an eagle which belonged to the skies. Perhaps she married Alfred without loving him only so that she could still be connected to Triston. Like they say... a heart wants what it wants.

  • @woodburygurl123 Hello. Tristan didn't want Susanna after he was through seducing her. He only used her because she was beautiful and to try to move past the grief of losing his younger brother whom she was connected to. Watch the movie again.

  • @ssuz1 I agree......I felt sorry for Alfred.....his wife never loved him the way he loved her from the moment he saw her.

  • Poor Susannah, she never saw a good, stable life. She deserved more.

  • @QueenbohemianQ : Bang on. She deserved more. To me she comes across as one character who gave a lot more love then what she got in return. She followed her heart and her heart betrayed her.

  • @QueenbohemianQ I totally agree. She had no parents, no brothers and sisters, loses the love of her life to another, and then she marries Alfred with whom she bares no children. She seemed like a good, caring, motherly type woman who lost even less than what she had to begin with.

  • Poor Susannah.

  • This scene should be called: when Susannah meets Tristan's kids because she first met Isabel when she was a young girl.

  • ooof those ladys that kissed was so personal and lesbianish!

  • I love Susannah's hat in this scene.

  • yawn

  • @AmorAmbee Sorry Ammbee. I'm from Brazil and did not understand your explanation

  • @Polica40 & @Amorambee

Actually the cutting of the hair before suicide is an old, symbolic thing - it's removing part of yourself while alive.

  • @AmorAmbee Wow! You practice forensic medicine or just kidding?

  • @Jenni. yes but this is the first time Susannah meets Mrs. Tristan

  • not realy the first time they met its earlier in the movie

  • @Polica40 I think it's because she hates the woman she is - women have long hair - and the beauty she has so she wants to destroy it first.
