  • is this bear creek by swansboro nc.? i wouldnt mind riding that road but i couldnt hang with a sport bike ,i ride a silverwing although i did look at this bike for a fun bike it is a real world livable straight up race bike. great vid looks like you had a great time riding keep it up and keep it rubber side down.

  • Yeap way to much bumps now.. 15 years ago the road was great !!! :) with the ZX12 started to rickochet with those bumps :(

  • km?? 3:58 minutes

  • Please make a video of you red lining in 5th PLEASEEEEEEE

  • @stretchdot 6th please..^^

  • BMW s1000rr mmm es unas de las mejore motos mas potentes uuuuff ya le hace competencia ala suzuki hayabusa y le gano increible ...sigan asi BMW cada vez impresionan mas

  • Where is that road? nice bike btw :)

  • Animal!!!!!! Quero uma destas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Probably scaring the SHIT out of those bikers.

  • Where is this At look beuatiful, and so Is your Bike.

  • Anyone down for some Bear creek road sessions?. If you like to go fast an live near by let me know!

  • You have to hand it to BMW, this looks like a really good sports bike compared to all the Jap bikes of 2011, and lets face it they've all had a lot of years to get it right, and then along comes this BMW sports bike (A bike from a company which I would have Never considered in the past when purchasing a sports bike) and blows away the competition.

I've had quite a few sports bikes back in the 90's (Fireblades, Ninja's etc) I would definitely consider one on these new BMW S1000's over the ZX10.

  • @mgsamps I agree 100% I had a test ride last weekend and im now buying the BMW s1000rr carbon sp edition!!! Pick it up next weekend!! The Sp1 is now forsale!!!

    NICE BIKE!!! GOOOOOOOOOO!

  • will learn to speed first, then burn!

  • Sympa ta vidéo mec....top moto....

  • Remember people this is BMW. Germans care about the engines they make. And I'm sure that BMW would have limited the rpm if they had to. So chill the fuck out, it is as close to a race bike as you get, it is an inline 4. It's made to rev high. So chill the fuck out, this guy can do anything he wants to on his bike. Because it is HIS.

  • First off - Great Vid

Second - S1000RR rules - im lovin mine too !!

Thirdly - I shit my self when you hit that first big bump and the camera went down. I was so into the vid I honestly felt liek i fell off !!!! hahah My heart jumped in to my mouth !!!

  • Haha thx for the video, that road looks smooth as can be, you just need to fix your camera mounting situation.. Helmet cam time or something!

  • Haha thx for the video, that road is smooth as can be, dont know what others are saying... Haha this guy just REALLY needs to fix his camera mounting...

  • vaya conduccion,jajajaja

  • Damn, who paved this road? the Amish!

  • thank god for steering dampers ... holy fuck that road is bumpy!

  • *puke*

  • Yall talk like you know something when infact yall have no idea about bikes

  • @urAllanimalz a common mistake on an inline 4 bike is being afraid of high rpms. these are top end screamers built to put out as much hp as possible, which means high rpms and high torque at those high rpms. its built to do that shit, dont hate on the rest of us for calling you out for saying something stupid.

  • i have always wanted a bike, since i was kid. But after a few years driving cars, and a couple of accidents that would have definately killed me had i been on a bike, one of them 100% not my fault and completly out of my control, a bike seems a scary prospect. One day i will buy one, but it will be after years of practice before i buy something this hot

  • 15,000 rpm, yum. you come across a veyron on the road yet? show him how its done? :)

  • @richardthek accelerationwise the S1000RR would obviously win..,.. but topspeedwise, dude... dont even bother trying... Veryon SS would suck it in its air intakes for breakfast....

  • @weetnietgeen

Very true, however I said on the road, where you would be deemed completely insane if you went anywhere near the veyrons top speed. To be honest, I reckon the veyron would win after 100/120mph, but in your average traffic light drag, I think this £12k superbike could defeat the £1,600,000 goliath, given a good rider.

  • @richardthek On any track and back roads the bike has it hands down. A gsxr1000 did the nurburgring which is a track with long winding turns where higher speeds are reached in 7:26 and the veyron did it in 7:40. Also the s1000rr is a little faster than the gsxr1000. So on any track where the car wouldn't be able to reach over 215 the bike has it easily.

  • Great vid, i love these home brew race bikes on the road.

  • i ride a 05 gsxr600.. and one day i want a BMW S1000RR.. thats my dream bike!!! :drool :drool !!!

  • U cant compare this to a hyabusa. this bmw is like a 750 compare to a busa.

  • @urAllanimalz UM no....

  • @urAllanimalz look for the videos that stock s1000rr beat modded busa.

  • @urAllanimalz

how can you say that, pretty much same bhp, lighter and much better around corners. im not saying the bmw is faster per say, but you make yourself out to be a retard when you say its like a 750 compared to a busa. hayabusa's are ugly as fuck anyway

  • Have you been able to figure out the shakes in the front end - definitely have a problem there even with the roads

  • @urAllanimalz He can cruise at whatever the fuck he wants. It's his bike, his motor, and his petrol bill. Besides, this thing probably loves to cruise up high.

  • no seriously, i'v been riding street drag for a long time. we cruise at 3500-4000 rpm steady but not 9000rpm like ur doing.. whos the retarded one now?

  • @urAllanimalz you. have a look at some documentary and ul find honda found that higher rpm creates more power and this bike goes all the way to the red like so be quiet or learn what your speaking about and this isnt drag he actually has skills because he can turn!!!

  • @urAllanimalz get back on your harley and get with the rest of the grandpas. if you know anything about race bikes ther are higher then 9,ooo rpm easily.

  • Great videos bro! Keep em coming. Makes me nostalgic for my old r1100s. How much did you give out for the motorad?

  • ur cruising at too many high rpms for too long..i dont think you know how to ride professionaly..you are a beginner amataur.

  • @urAllanimalz ... you're retarded

  • i would kill to have those kinds of roads

  • I would recommend and stronger camera bracket

  • good rider

  • ya were bavarian build best bikes :) so we do cars :) awesome vid :) drive carefully :)

  • Good Video. But dont drive all the time over 10.000 rpm.Use the next gear.

    Good drive.Bad Asphalt quality

  • s1000RR exhaust sound: youtube.com/watch?v=lxo_qk5RIVg

  • Is the S1000RR easy to catch on to and get comfortable with? Would you recommend it to someone whose just gotten their motorcycle license with limited experiance on a GSXR 750?

  • @IMPORTEDCSL kieth code is using them at his school...its suppose to handle like a cbr 600rr..the only reason not to get that bike is 16,000$ or if you cant control what your wrist does

  • @IMPORTEDCSL Okay ive been riding my entire life if your just starting on a bike get a older cbr 600rr f4 killer good bike gixxers a chicky poseur bike

  • man i want to see this video but i really cant. i like the bike, the place where u ride, but the bumpy road and your driving.... no offence but i really dont like your driving. From 3:25 u kept the 2nd gear insanly much. At 3:45 u were killing my ears... poor mechanik. Use more your shift man, try to find out the best rpm to ride in curves and in straight. U ride in the same gear in any occasion. At this point put a fucking 6th and go off.

  • my dreambike...

  • love the bike and love the video!

  • is that kmh or mph?

  • damn kamera !!!!!!!!!!!

  • why are you all the time keeping the revs so far up if u dont accelerate o_O its so useless

btw: your rear damper is much too hard, 10%less compression damp. and 20% less rebound damp. will soften the ride

  • Back in the day this was our own mini-autobahn. That it hasn't been surfaced in 15-20 years speaks volumes about our infrastructure. That been said, the bike rocks! It still is one of my favorite roads. I grew up on Reliez Valley Rd, so this was my backyard loop. Used to ride 2 strokes, now it's an FZ1. See ya at the wall!

Skags Springs is the same type of road, designed and built by Army Corps of Engineers, I believe. It's 20 years newer, and way fun, watch out for deer!

  • HELL YEAH

  • If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? I'm curious because i don't see too many baby boomers riding sport bikes, yet not many twenty somethings can afford a bike of this quality. In a roundabout way I'm trying to say that you sir have excellent taste in motorbikes.

  • pretty place is this U.S.

  • how are you liking the bike??

  • I'm Lovin it!

  • @hendrsn like mcdonalds??

  • @hendrsn bada ba ba ba! I'm lovin it! xD sorry, i had to. lol

  • How does the wheelie/traction control feel? Hope you got your suspension set up good because that would of been a hellish ride by the looks of it if not.

  • I still need to dial in the suspension but all in all its great and the traction control is awesome!

  • @hendrsn

don't dial suspensions so there is some more chances that going slower the motor doesn't blow up!lol

  • @hendrsn take it to mines road... best road in nor cal...
