  • Zero ground clearance

  • A triumph of form over function. It'll ground all the time!

  • but will it blend?

  • Its nice but i dont like it xD

  • Where do i pedal?

  • @xXxgriefelementxXx

you see the shiny steel pedal looking thing. well it's not that it's the other part

  • wheres the engine?

  • it always makes me giggle when people solve design problems that dont exist

  • in the future the wheel doesnt exist anymore just magnetic levitation/propulsion

  • I invented a bike hubless and frameless with no seat or visible engine. Its my air bike.

  • Does futuristic mean that it has zero functionality?

  • @kabodkhwaamkhid Of course you have functionality....you just have to be going downhill.....good luck stopping.

  • then comes a speed bump...

  • Oh my god ! I Got an Trabant and a Balkan (bike) and they are perfect :D

  • im guesssing if you had the mechine shop it wouldnt be a future bike

  • I WOULD RIDE THIS.

  • Seems like to be genuinely futuristic it would have to have some kind of improved function or improved usability....I'm not seeing how that would be any better than my Trek, except it doesn't have any ground clearance so I would have to park it at the curb and not attempt the driveway with it.

  • I have a unicycle like that

  • ok... where's the whells?

  • @super0spore0fan

did you even look at the bike? they are attached to the frame without spokes in the middle

  • @scrumhalf621 LOL,looks like nobody understand my jokes...

  • Well..... Someone has terrible handwriting.

  • will it blend?

  • Watch it crack as it goes over a small bump.

  • TRON!

  • This is stupid.

  • it's an Orange County Chopper! lmfaooo

  • If it could retail at Canuck Tire for $499.00, you might sell a bunch.

  • looks like shit and wont work.

  • Good luck going over a hump.

  • I find it hilarious that so many people come up with all these ridiculous looking failed concepts and label them as "futuristic". It surely won't be in our future if it is not superior to the current technology.

    Idiots. Idiots everywhere!

  • it's not futuristic, it's artistic. i think futuristic must be light, durable, can run not only on flat surface so people will like it. i don't think if this will still run after front wheel has deformed. it's not practical.

  • I PRAY that this wont ever get on the market.... Just cuz its the future doesnt mean we have to have weird lookin crap everywhere...

  • New invention makes driving easier. wwwDOTsidedriverDOTcom

  • you fuckin suck!

  • Wow! That better be one level and smooth road your trippin on. (or does this thing lift hydraulically?)

  • i see how it would work. But sadly. It won't work.

  • TRON!

  • looks stupid....u know that people thought of shit like this in the 80s -.-

nothing much is gunna change in the next few hundred years

  • There no point to this, using a rim mount hub just adds weight and complexity to the bike design.

  • I have that bike. but its blue.

  • @FURdeRIO blue like blue, or blue like gay blue?

  • looks expensive

  • This isn't a Model for prototyping, this is just a Showcase of his/her 3D Modeling skills. Really nice modeling, looks pretty hard.

  • If this were realistic, How would You move it? Fart Power?

  • If I'm seeing it right, are those gear teeth sticking out on the inside of the rims?

    Insurance fail...

  • It's too low, going over a bump would knock you off the bike.

  • why?

  • In the future, they will take perfected designed and totally fuck them up, just because they can, even if it drastically decreases efficiency, increases costs and maintenance.

Just like film Brazil. I'm looking forward to it.

  • Dear santa...

  • #OMG it looks like a ugly piece of exspensive iron

  • It's not the future bike. Just looks futuristic... Lol, bike does NOT need any improvements, Its simple as 1+1 and doesn't need somethink like hubless construction. It's pointless to make maximum simple things more difficult.

  • wtf kind of future is this!! it doesnt even have a cup holder!!

  • I rather stick to my cannondale

  • I don't see how 'physics don't exist' in this...there are actually bikes that look similar to this with the same idea. REAL ones.

  • I got from minecraft to this??

  • How the hell has this gotten 3 million views???

  • there's no pedals... =/

  • It looks uncomfortable

  • Aaaand what about suspension?

  • Judging by that ride height I am guessing you are at least half mexican

  • can't believe this got 3 million veiws

  • DAMN!! THIS WOULD HURT YOUR BALLS!!!

  • if it is a bicycle does it turns?

  • Is that a motor bike or cycle

  • does it turn

  • how the crap are you supposed to peddle it

  • nice did you use blender, cuz thats what i use and im broke

  • Great! now how do you go over minor bumps?

  • they already have hubless bikes look it up if you dont believe me

  • Great! Now back to how it will work....

  • good luck crossing over the curbs

  • hmmm... but will it blend?

  • @Draw42 um... no...

  • um. no.

  • Design principle looks ok to me, needs fine tuning that's it. Plus you got plenty of space to pack up some eletrical engine (a cvt would be cool too). Would be a decent green city commuter bike. Try to sell it in Europe mate!

A regular electrical bicycle is sold 6 to 800€ (1000+ us$) on the retail market and they're ugly as they can be ;)

  • looks ugly as fuck, i wouldnt ride that thing.

  • @AForkSpoon A comment on your name..... A Fork Spoon is a Spork.

  • looks like shit

  • why not.

  • It is very inconvinient design as you cant use it on a dirt road.

  • @Xramas umm same with road bikes. Just because it's a bike doesn't mean it's meant to ride on a dirt track, that's what a mountain bike is for.

  • @ti3nt but you do know that you can ride a road bike on a dirt road dont you? This bike you cant even use on a surface that tilts more than 3 degrees as almost every road does. Do you see my point?

  • But will it blend?

  • CALL ME WHEN YOU MAKE ONE WORK

  • Wouldn't it be troublesome if you're crossing a road bump.

  • how would u pedal? :/

  • @DLoproduktionz there pedals on it... look closely..

  • @ThincKritically what are you going to ride then, if the world is full of cars.

  • meraviglia delle meraviglie!!!!

  • hibin hiye ben habbaba! my god!

  • Just because its the future doesent mean physics dont exist...

  • @crazynoobboy What are you talking about? Are you implying this bicycle isn't possible? You look stupid and so do the people that liked your comment because hubless wheels are completely possible and already exist. it's called ball bearings dude,

  • Comment removed

  • @crazynoobboy Easy, there could be a gear system going through where the pedals are, into a rack and pinion gear system around the rear wheel, which looks to already be in the design (notice the teeth around the inner rear hub) Why would it fall apart? if it was made from carbon fiber and aluminum it would be lightweight and plenty strong. Use your imagination dude, don't limit yourself, this is completely possible. I hope someone gets the money together and builds a real prototype so u shut up

  • @crazynoobboy BTW, if you havent seen it, check out billy lane's hubless motorcycle wheel, type in "billy lane wheel" video is called "hubless wheel of billy lane"

  • Comment removed

  • @crazynoobboy This hubless bike you show me it so good its on fire. /watch?v=T5AqacPNKxM

  • @crazynoobboy why it shouldnt work? :D

  • @crazynoobboy Ever heard of a hubless wheel? It' completely possible, and has been done already.

  • @JolkQwas Not just hubless wheel. The way the bikes shaped and the hubs are shapped.

  • @crazynoobboy meh physics is so 1820

  • @crazynoobboy but what if, inside that little but of metal hiding the bike wheels conceals small gears which allow it to keep going without completely crashing

  • @crazynoobboy and just because its the future, dosnt mean people wont laugh at you or beat you up if you ride this ridiculous thing around in public

  • @crazynoobboy people have made hubless bikes

  • @crazynoobboy it is not actually hubless, it has a rim mounted hub. Many motorcycle designs use it

  • @SuperChuckRaney If it were mounted by the rim, then the wheel would not rotate.

  • @crazynoobboy I refute your statement thus: /watch?v=Ozl7HrTtMBQ&

  • @crazynoobboy I DONT KNOW IF YOU HAVE HEARD OF THIS MAGICAL THING CALLED MAGNETISM

  • @crazynoobboy

such a bike is very doable, just not practical. all one needs to do is put bearings in the rims instead of the hubs and change up the drivetrain a little.

just because you don't understand engineering doesn't mean something is impossible. (see lunartic hubless wheel & monowheel etc.)

  • @dubhippy Smart arse. lets see you create a bike that looks EXACTLY like this one. with every single part where this picture has it.

  • @crazynoobboy Why would you do that? It's a stupid computer model, all he said is it's possible to do the wheels. Which is completely possible. You're just dumb.

  • @crazynoobboy

um... i'm an artist who excels in mechanical design and could easily do it if i set my mind to it. yes, i AM a smart cookie... 157 degrees of smart to be exact. a wheel inside a wheel is a VERY simple concept. if i REALLY set my mind to it, i could make a bike that rolls way more efficiently even using air bearings, but then that would be cheating. perhaps using magnets mag lev style would cancel friction, but then it would be very heavy. the point is, it's doable

  • @dubhippy except the part where if theres a speed hump or anything similar on a design like this your face will eat concrete

  • @DOE893187

that's FUNNY as 10 speeds have been rolling over streets with no suspension and 90lbs pressure or more for decades without the global disaster effect you speak of.

a hubless bike wouldn't be about performance anyways, but cruising in style.

i don't like suspensions on bikes myself. they're energy hogs. i ride with a rigid alu hardtail and 50lbs pressure in my slicks and have NEVER faceplanted once even hitting unseen pressure cracks in sidewalks at night. your theory is moot

  • @dubhippy you do realize that bikes are never designed with the chassis at the same level as a the road for a reason unlike the picture shown above?and the distance between the wheel base wouldn't allow you to go over speed-bumps as I said before, its a flawed design theoretically and physically it would be impractical unless you live on a salt plain....

  • @DOE893187

you must be a gearhead who only thinks in terms of motor vehicles and NEVER actually ride a bike. unless you're riding downhill or on some unknown road, or at night without lights, there's no obstacle that can't be easily avoided. i've been riding rigid bikes ONLY since the early 70s and have never yet had this problem you speak of and a hubless bike would only ride SLOWER and SAFER due to the weight and friction of the design. otherwise, one could be made with ANY geometry desired

  • @dubhippy

i'm thinking this topic is in relation to that sketchy looking short wheelbase model in one video and not the stretched out one. if i were to design a hubless bike, i'd make it a recumbent anyways. as one wouldn't need the same geometry as a traditional forked bike and one could use a larger front wheel that's just hinged, probably way high on the hub & angled to keep steering from getting sketchy. that would be one stylin' 5mph ride, especially with tunes. yeah! screw practicality!

  • @DOE893187

oh, THAT'S what you're talking about? i didn't realize you were referring to the frame physically scraping. i thought you were just attacking the general principle. still, regarding styling, practicality never stopped people from dropping their cars so low the tires scrape their fenders and they can't go over speedbumps either. if you just gotta have that low low look, you have to accept compromises like only being able to ride on flat & smooth surfaces. i'd accept that

  • more than the frame though, the PEDALS are way too low! they would definitely scrape in any hard turns if you didn't raise your inner pedal as pedal scraping even happens with mountain bikes.

if i were to design the bike, i'd stretch it out and drop the seat in front of the rear wheel more along the lines of a limo bike and push the pedals as far forward as they could go and still clear the front wheel for a swoopier recumbent look.

competition lowriders are so low they can't even be ridden

  • @crazynoobboy what are you talking about this is a great design and works...

  • @perrythekiller Sorry man you're not phsycic...

  • the future sucks

  • @Andy11231

    where are the pedals?

  • where is the engine?

  • It would suck because if you built to be as durable as a bike with spokes then it would be much heavier so there is literally no point to this.

  • @thekkl it has plasma spokes when you turn it on, genius

  • @wergersnee Oh right, I should have known that, silly me.

  • how do you peddle the thing????

  • @mugwamp4 pedal*

  • produce it, i will buy it

  • Hideous

  • but will it blend

  • that would be awesome

  • Ain't gonna happen.

  • But...Will It Blend?

  • @shadowflare2255 Why Does Everyone Say That?

  • nice pizza cutter

  • Why would you change the perfect design of the bike?

  • ummmmmm.... NO

  • There's no slot for my Duel Disk. I can't play a children's card game on this!

  • why does everything from the future look so radically different... if its not broken dont fix it

  • @bradfordbulls4lyf well atlest it wanst built with something going in and out of your ass like "IT" from southpark

  • wher the hell are the springs

  • Futuristic??

    More like gaylistic.

  • @themixedarts calm down adam sandler...

  • @destinosangre Yor no mach for mi thurd graid edewcashen!

  • Changing a tyre would be a bitch!

  • one thing i'm sure off: us dutch will never give up our 10 euro bikes stolen by a hobo.

  • that looks easy to make

  • So where do i put my disc brake?

  • why do bikes from the future always look so gay? seriously, if it works now, there's no point in re-doing the design.

  • @BigCanOfBeans There's really nothing original anymore. Just increasing exercises in bizarre and radical expressions. Visual sound and fury signifying nothing. Butt-ugly cars where the stylists have no other inspiration than to stretch lines out, rake windshields back, round off what's already been rounded off, and deliberately grate at the senses with dissonance all around. All while making it look the same as every other freakish car, bike, or bicycle. Even washers and dryers look bizarre now.

  • Are all of you guys retarded, the hubless wheel wouldn't warp your tire, thats why theres air in it, and this hubless design could make you glide for hours because of the lower centre of gravity, take a fucking auto class, jesus christ

  • if you were on a race you would go 1 cm of 1 km

  • That's a dumb piece of s__t "design".

  • @ThePrivateJoker they said that about the modern automobile too :)

  • U KNO THAT BIKE GOT A WEIGHT LIMIT =)

  • This reminds me of the car wheels on the game Red Faction: Guerrilla. This could also have a big market on automobiles in the future

  • This bike aint worth a sh!t. Any fool can see that it will bottom out over a one inch bump.

  • the spokes on a wheel are there merely to put tension on the wheel pulling it to the centre. this makes the wheel rigid and strong. take those off and the wheel will bend and warp with every bump.

Strengthen the wheel for hubless; and the wheels become heavy and hard to work. pointless.

  • Good luck going over any sort of bump.

  • do you wanna know why this bike is a fail?...it just is, change ur software

  • *says it fast like a commercial guy* not available for fat fucks above the weight limit 200 lbs.

  • This is just a typical kiddie design-student exercise that is pretty much a waste of time.

  • great !!! no more damn kids jamming sticks in my wheels : /

  • @middlemanclayton1 dude i swear i lought so fking loud :D

  • something like that exists already but on chopper bikes it costs a lot

  • Futuristic shit :P

  • they already have bikes like. the factor is why wont they build it .:/ that is the question

  • this could easily be done with titanium rims... dont think you're special

  • I want my 8 seconds back!!!

  • to bad this is only a cgi

  • in what way would such bike be better than an ordinary one? it would probably be very heavy and really expensive.... pointless!

  • what happens when a piece of gravel gets stuck in the gear teeth on the inside of the wheel?

  • I would rather ride "THE IT'' from south park
