  • im sure there is a small Atheist country out there somewhere you guys can go to if you dont like the traditional way of life.. Amen

  • Atheists are confused people... and our history does need to be taught correctly as it was back then because it does tie in to today and future, when your not fully informed thats when ignorance destroys morals and leads to 12yr olds having babies and atheists telling them its ok and keeps passing down moral less education. atheists is a form scientology and America was founded on christianity "In God We Trust" "One Nation Under God" "So Help Me God" Used in All Important American Traditions..

  • Where's the other side of this? They didn't bother bringing any atheists on board to show their opinion. Which would have been "We actually never suggested censorship at all, we just didn't Christianity and intelligent design published as fact in their text books."

  • Glad I don't live in that shithole known as "Texas".

    Dry, worthless, desert wasteland.

  • I'm pretty sure the atheists and ACLU and all the people protesting just want to make sure Intelligent design is not taught as fact considering it's not a proven science it's non science and nonsense. All this talk about the Alamo and MLK is just deflecting the issue and appealing to the ignorant to rally more idiots to their brainwashing perspective.

  • Did this guy just break a law in the UCMJ for stating he is in the Marines and sides for one side of the arguement? What does being in the Marines have anything to do with it?

  • Athiest is a religion? I thought it was a lack thereof lol... fucking moron.

  • please. somebody explain, how is atheism a religion? is it just some stupid thing that religious idiots say in order to demean atheism and science/evolution? because last time i checked atheism is defined as "no religion"

  • since when is atheism a religion, im an atheist and i do not believe in any gods. i believe science can help man more then some religion,

look at it this way - we have medicines, machines, engineerings, ect these things have helped man.

i have prove that religions a hoax - dinosaurs, museums, natural selection, evolution, ( i can go on all day )

  • I think the way religion is taught here in Finland is pretty acceptable.

Kids are taught about different religions from a historical and scientific stand-point. Teachers aren't allowed to be biased towards any one religion, or to teach based on any specific religious dogma. Kids learn about the history of different religions (christianity primarily due to it being the majority religion here) as well as about their mythology and dogma. They're not encouraged to follow or not follow any of them.

  • wow i have lived in texas for all my life and somehow i turned out to be a thinker/atheist.

dont censor anything! but dont put the positive things about religion out there without also broadcasting the other things

  • I'm glad I wasnt born in Texas for so many reasons.

  • Atheists Want The Reality of Religion Taught in Texas

  • Go on Texas, i dare you. Teach something to your children, something factual. Go on, bet you can't you inbred bunch of bible thumping cocksuckers.

  • Well that seemed fair and balanced.

  • Einstein was not a Christian or a religious man. Saenz and his partner are liars promoting the kind of propaganda and pseudohistory in Texas that promotes the end of freedom of religion and taking away real American historical figures like Jefferson.

  • First Dubya, now Perry. For crying out loud, teach SOMETHING in Texas - anything...

If any religion is to be taught in schools, then all of the major religions must be taught in schools. To teach anything but that would be ethically incorrect. No religion should be taught school as 'correct'. The basic facts and tenets followed by the different religions could be taught as part of the social studies/ humanities program to broaden students' minds. It doesn't belong in the science lab.

  • Yes, teach the atheist version of religion... where it's all junk and made-up. These guys just want THEIR version of it taught. Where they are special and their magic man is the only real magic man. The rest are all junk and made-up.

  • doocy lol

  • Yes, religion has impacted a lot of american history. The big one though is that the founding fathers didn't want to government to favour any one religion, which is why there was the first amendment. The new education standards takes out the focus on this amendment. You can say all you want about how the alamo who a catholic mission, or out MLK was influenced by his religion, I don't care, that is factual.

  • bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!bullshit!

    dumb-ass fox!

  • the guy on the left definitely needs to be in a classroom, but not as the teacher

  • If we're going to teach kids about the positive impact of religion, then we should teach them the negative impact of religion as well.

  • “Question with boldness even the existence of god because if there be one he must approve of the homage of reason more than that of blindfolded fear” Thomas Jefferson. "I have seldom met an intelligent person whose views were not narrowed and distorted by religion" James Buchanan 15th President

  • I have found Christian dogma unintelligible. Early in life, I absenteed myself from Christian assemblies." Ben Franklin. He also said “to follow by faith alone is to follow blindly.” "The government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion.Treaty of Tripoli, article 11 John Adams and ratified by congress.

  • Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the Bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we called it the word of a demon, than the word of God. It is a history of wickedness, that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind; and, for my part, I sincerely detest it, as I detest everything that is cruel. - Thomas Paine - Age Of Reason

  • I love the marine on the left, he looks like you have to wind him up; I think he shoved his M-16 up his ass. These guys would have all the students calling the Civil War the "War of Northern Aggression" and believing that Ted Kennedy was the Antichrist. I love how they appear to be frustrated civil servants (one does anyway, I'm not sure what robomarine was there for),who just want to get the job done for the good folks of Texas.

  • MLK was not a good person because of his Christian values, it was because he respected other individuals and their beliefs as much as he wanted his own group respected.

  • @lemontkid

    Absolutely.

  • @lemontkid Actually Matthew 7:12, and Luke 6:31 both speak of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. That is very much a Christian value. It's not exclusive to Christianity, but still a Christian value nonetheless. You have to give credit where credit is due.

  • @whodatdere The idea of treating others how you want to be treated is NOT a value started by Christians.

It stems from the Law of Reciprocity, which in Latin is "lex talionis," and examples of this are used in the Code of Hammurabi, which dates to 1700 BCE, as well as other places such as Hittite Law, Assyrian Law, and Mosaic Law. These usually refer to legal matters, but stem from the idea that if you dont want someone attacking you, don't attack them first. This was NOT created by Christians.

  • @bcloss7175 I never said that it was started by Christians, nor did I mean to imply it, but it is a Christian value. I'm sure others share it as well.

  • @bcloss7175 dont forget confucious

  • @bcloss7175

Yes, the Greeks and Chinese philosophers articulated the principles better and earlier than the Christians. Not to say that there is no wisdom from Christianity but it did not invent or start the Golden Rule.

  • once again fox news is doing terrible journalism. they only allowed one side of the story and the presenter just stood there like a nodding idiot, agreeing with everything they said. this is not a serious news station. they are a disgrace and an insult to real journalism.

  • While I strongly oppose the teaching of creationism and/or "intelligent design" in publicly funded schools, I believe in this particular instance, they're not discussing science curricula. They're discussing social studies. I believe a discussion of how religion has impacted our social history seems valid. As long as they show all sides (which I know they won't). Was religion a pivotal part of colonial life? Yes. So was hateful intolerance and witch burning.

Teach it all, or not at all.

  • @rmcdaniel423 I agree totally. While an atheist, religion has been a massive part of America's history and culture. You can't ignore it. But how it would be taught could be problematic.

  • @deanosumo So has poverty, torture, killing, curruption, slavery, etc. The list goes on.

  • "I'm a former marine"

    What do you want, applause?

  • Yes, Atheists do want "their" version of religion taught in schools. A version where we use the most current facts and evidence to determine what is taught in school, not bronze-age mythology.

  • Religion has NO Place in the core curriculum. Religion can be an elective, but such electives are better in college. I will approve Creationism in the classroom at taxpayer expense when they allow a real teacher in church at parishioner expense, equal time right?

  • 1:16 - 1:23

He's clearly joking on the bullshit that is coming from his mouth.

  • Texas has too many loons

  • Ok, we get it, marines are cool guys. It doesn't mean you have to bring one on for every single news report. Just what the fuck was this?

  • "we don't want any other religious views other then ours to be presented to children in our state. We must indoctinate them into christianity"...That is what he really meant.

  • This is crazy...!!! Lets teach creationism in a religous class, teach it as a spiritual thing. Teach things based on evidence in actual subjects. No proof for something should not be taught to children

  • the very word atheist means "no religion" so how can we possibly want "our version of religion" to be taught. That statement makes no logical sense.

  • What the fuck does a completely uneducated marine have anything to do with this???

  • So... much... spin!

  • Wow so the Atheist was to tear the heart and mind of USA right out!

  • @1:55 "their version of religion which really means censorship". The Christain/Catholic church is one of the most notorious perpetrators of censorship throughout history.

  • of course christians censor. If they didn't everyone would find out what a bunch of bullshit their religion truely is. Just look at all the christian videos here on youtube. Most of them disable comments, censor comments or block those with opposing viewpoints. That pretty much says it all right there.

  • Fox not only ashames America, but the human intelligence and intellectual honesty.

  • Censoring the Alamo and MLK Jr is not what atheists want! These are important and historical events that were related to religion but do not promote it. We don't want a complete eradication of religion, we just want people to be logical and critical thinking.

  • Faux News

  • questions to all creationist, if the adam and eve story is true then where did the different races come from? or after the global flood, where did the different races come from?

  • @moviemaker1865 ...the answer to your question is in Genesis chapters 10 and 11, check it out my friend. God bless!

  • @GaryLyons is that the part where jesus chokes his chicken thinking about a threeway with mary and judas? I slept a lot in catholic school so my memory is kind of fuzzy.

  • @osamawife6 ...obviously you didn't read it. And even if you listened in catholic school you would not have gotten the truth, they primarily teach a man made religion. But if you heed God's Word in Jeremiah 29:13 you will indeed find Him who is true. Remember, 10 out of 10 people die, and you will be dead alot longer than you are alive on this earth in this body. Hebrews 9:27 is all too clear - "It is appointed for man to die once, then the judgement." ~ Choose wisely my friend.

  • @GaryLyons what?

  • @GaryLyons isn't babel in present day Ira? so we should be speaking fucking arab now? your a fucking fool.

  • @GaryLyons and isn't that supposedly some New World Order kind of shit? fuck you. i like my fucking freedom. asshole dick.

  • @thompson8305 ...no my friend, you do not like your freedom...you like being bound by sin. Freedom, true freedom is realized in Jesus Christ. For who the Son sets free is free indeed. Romans 6:16 says - "Do you not know that who you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that ones slave whom you obey? Whether it is sin leading to death or obedience leading to righteousness." ~ I pray you find freedom in Jesus Christ, for He indeed came to set the captives free. May God bless you :)

  • @GaryLyons hah it's funny you go running back to the bible to quote...i can play that game too. hell i'm to lazy now to look it up myself but please look up exodus 21:20. that's a good one. i like slaves.

  • @thompson8305 .....true slavery is spiritual slavery. Do you not know that those who were in the past or even are today physical slaves, yet saved by God's grace in Jesus Christ are Christ's freed men? I pray you find this freedom and escape the slavery of sin...may God bless you!

  • @GaryLyons i'd think slavery would be defined as not being able to think on your own, but instead be a slave to a bo0ok about some invisible person controlling everyone's lifes. if you are happy in slavery go ahead. i like to think on my own. i don't believe god saves slaves. he promotes it quite vivdly in the book man made about him. your thinking is the same thinking of human traffikers and if those slaves think they are free because of christ then they are just as deluded as you.

  • @thompson8305 ...I can assure you that you love slavery. You are a slave to sin, bound in its chains. You love darkness. This is why Jesus said - "Light has come into the world but men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who loves evil hates the light and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed." (John 3:19-20) ~ For this reason you hate Jesus, no wonder He said - "The world hates Me because I testify that what it does is evil."

  • @GaryLyons first of all, i don't hate jesus. first he needs to proove his existence to me for me to have any judgement on him other than what that horrid book says about it all. second, i prefer the light as a matter of fact, if by dark and light you are referring to simply being able to think on my own without the suspicion that god is controlling me. sin was created by the bible. as was jesus and god and the snake and the boat and everything else.

  • @GaryLyons please provide a response without running back to your book, which has obviously got you bound and blinded. Creationism: the theory that Rome WAS built in a day.

  • @thompson8305 ~My friend, this "book" is the truth, no wonder I share what it says with you about these things. You can judge Jesus, read the gospel of John and judge Him, I pray you do. Jesus is the light of the world, so by light I mean Him. Darkness is the absence of Him, this is why sin abounds in darkness. Of course I want you to think for yourself. But listen to your conscience, do not lie to yourself. Because the Word of God is a mirror exposing the inner depths of our hearts. God bless!

  • @GaryLyons were you a muslim you'd be saying the exact same thing about muhammed. Read the old testament, read how many people god commands to be killed, read how he commands you to kill your children if they are disobedient. Jesus is the light? I think I'll prefer the dark then where he can't find me.

  • @juuonse ...at least you admit you are in darness and that you have chosen it. I assure you that God will give you exactly what you want....eternal separation from Him

  • @GaryLyons and that's what christians call a benevolent and loving god. Yay for him then for being the supergalactic asshole of all eternity.

  • Thanks for all the good work ACLU!

  • I want kids to be taught that the world is on the back of a turtle.

  • @8000cheese Thumbs up for the Discworld reference.

  • @serialclone discworld? huh?

  • @8000cheese I thought when you were referencing Discworld when you said "the world is on the back of a turtle." Discworld is a fictional world in Terry Pratchett novels. It's a flat world balanced on the backs of four elephants which stand on the back of a giant turtle.

  • @serialclone Its a reference to Hindu and Native American myth that says the world is supported by a giant turtle, lol

  • "Atheists Want Their Version of Religion Taught in Texas"

This statement just shows how most Christians really don't understand what atheism is; WE DON'T HAVE ANY VERSION OF RELIGION!

We advocate sanity. Give it a try.

  • Martin Luthor was Christian? LOL these texas school books suuuure taught me!

  • What the fuck is a marine doing in this clip? Why not bring on a teacher?

  • ₣₳U卐 ₦€W$ for J€$¥$

  • Atheists don't have a problem with stating that Martin Luther King Jr was a Christian. That is a fact. Evolution is a fact too. Get over it. Fox News strikes again!

  • Atheism isn't a religion, but it is a stance on religion. As such, it shouldn't be taught in school. School should be secular, not atheist or religious.

  • @ug333 That is the whole point, Fox News misrepresented the atheist position, as well as other position. They were trying to teach children that the country isn't as secular as it is, was founded as a Christian Nation, and reamins a Christian Nation today. That is a problem, so the ACL and other organizations stepped in to stop it.

  • @buttface112211 Sorry, I should have replied to RhysGarrish. The statement was made that "schools should teach all beliefs". I was pointing out that is actually the opposite, school shouldn't teach any religious belief. They can provide information about things, but they can not "teach all beliefs".

Sorry, I was originally unclear. You are absolutely right.

  • I thought Atheism wasn't a form of religion? Atheists couldn't be more fucking foolish than they are today.

  • @xchargerOUx its a religious belief, it may not be a religion, but schools should teach all beliefs not just christianity, or islam, or jewdaism etc, you cant say that they are foolish when the only thing backing up christianity is that it isnt possible to prove it wrong, people should have the right to know about various beliefs, and then make their own choice, so dont be a troll and actually think befor youy type

  • WTF is the marine even doing? He did not add anything to the topic. He only said " I am a marine and i got four kids. I want to be a Teacher." ...and it ends right there.

  • @Gravegore

I think it's a propaganda, attempting to be subtle and failing. I.e ''This man is from the U.S Military, he is a Good and a moral man - you should agree with him because he is a Soldier!'' but the continuation of that, the hurried plug for his 4 Kids was desperatly pathetic.

  • i like how there is no one on the show to represent the other side of the debate. Is that the fair or the balanced part??

  • I just love FOX. So much entertainment.

  • And this half-wit marine was there, why? God damn Fox is so stupid.

Texas, I'm so, so sorry for your loss...

  • Social studies in Texas is becoming retarded.

  • these guys know what they're doing, putting a marine as their campaign face.

  • lol albert einstein and christmas?? Both of them have nothing to do with christianity...funny.

  • @Hermoor Even though it was originally Pagan, Christmas is now very related to Christianity, regardless of its origins. It is now accepted as a "Christian" holiday, so it does have something to do with Christianity.

  • @FrivolousKnowledge It's only a christian holiday in america...where I'm from we celebrate christiams because of presents and because of santa. Not because of Jesus AT ALL

  • wow, what a meaningful contribution the marine made.

  • Ive been in the Corps for five years now, and it seems most people are either hardcore believers or completely atheistic. It makes me sad that people can argue for nonsense based solely on their veteran status.

I went to Iraq twice and once to afghanistan so far, and i'm an atheist, but you don't see Marines like me up there on screen arguing to propagandize school textbooks. That devildog should be ashamed to name drop the Corps like that.

  • Fox News sucks!

  • Comment removed

  • Alert the presses, it turns out Fox News are a bunch of liars.

  • Now THATS what I call "fair and balanced" !

  • Wait wtf so they didn't have anyone from the other side at all.... surely that counts as straight up propaganda.

  • That dumbass is going to teach kids? Holy shit!

  • What a nice, balanced discussion that was. Clearly, both sides were being properly presented and given an equal opportunity to present their cases, as it should be in a free democracy. *He says with sarcasm thick as pig shit*

  • The sheer bias, is brain-erodin

  • As far as I could tell that was a fair and unbiased piece of journalism, well done Faux News /facepalm. Seriously folks any News program in the UK that tried that kind of propaganda bullshit would be off the air within hours. The freedom to speak should not mean the freedom to lie on a national broadcast, shame on everybody involved.

  • Theyr'e onto us guys, who told them about our evil plan to teach religon of atheism via evil-ution, WHO TOLD??

this is gonna make Lord dawkins real mad (Peace be beneath him)

  • @shandcunt We should pray to the the Great Atheismo to help us spread the message of evil-ution, through his prophet Dawkins so that Christianity may fall! :P

  • Why he had to mention that he was in a tour in Iraq? It's so annoying.

  • guy on the left looks mad weird

  • the US system- where regionally elected people can decide what students learn is a big failure.

  • Is anyone else offended that such nonsense is not only believed, but successfully propagated in modern times? America, you have some serious catching up to do... the whole civilized world is ahead of you.

  • Aaahh, theists making claims about things they deem unknowable. What an astounding contradiction.

  • And neither of these men were biologists. Go figure.

  • Comment removed

  • i think its funny that americans still have religion its not just the middle east that believes this stuff

  • That's why Faux News can't be taken seriously.

  • i love fox news. @americanSecularist, dawkins doesnt tell us how to think. im 20 and i can honestly say ive never believed in god. they are editing history and the ignorance of these people is so blatantly apparent . how these people dress themselves in the morning baffles me.

  • This is typical,

He is a marine and has 4 children, so he must be the american hero, so what he says must be right.

    Manipulating mother fraggers

  • Great story!

A controversy is apparently brewing over the curriculum in Texas public scholls, but noone in this segment bothers to tell anyone what that controversy actually is.

Atheists are bad is the only thing we hear.

And bring in the marine to add... absolutley nothing to the discussion except:

    "He's a former marine!"

Well hoozah, let's then respect this side of a controversy YOU DON'T EVEN BOTHER TELLING US WHAT IS ALL ABOUT IN THE FIRST PLACE!

    Pathetic!

  • if SS/History is "correctly"/"completely" taught... children would be kicking and screaming not to go to church... ijs

  • SS is being taught correctly, and your board of ed. is trying to rewrite the constitution so that Christians can feel superior to any one that disagrees. You're lucky your not a witch!

  • Watching this clip and unfamiliar with the situation, I still have no idea what the school board and atheists want in the curriculum. Their explanations made no sense. Typical TV news, trying to persuade rather than inform.

  • @temujin1234 Science taught in science class. That's all

  • Hmmm. "Their version of religion" Do you mean actual science?

  • Fox "News" doesn't get it? I'm am completely shocked. :o

  • Unlike Christians, Atheists look at all religions equally.

    Complete bullshit about censorship. BULLSHIT!

  • Fux news spreading misinformation as usual.

  • only a retard would say 'atheists want their version of reliegon taught' simply because A theist means none beleif in a god that has a direct effect upon people here on earth.

So how on earth can that be a reliegon?

  • @koorgen

This obviously went to the wrong person... i never said any of those things.

Careful next time you click reply..

  • A religious person complaining about censorship.....no hypocrisy here

  • Atheists do talk about MLK and the Alamo, because THEY HAPPENED.

  • 'i ised to be a marine, and now im gunna be a teacher'.... who gives a flying f**k? he added nothing to the segment. i have the utmost respect for military personael, but some ex military seem to use it as a 'u must respect me, and my word carries weight on matters that have nothing to do with the military'. gratz to him for serving, but... what does that have to do with what the segments about?

  • Faux Rumours is at it again.

  • Throughout a political debate with a co-worker, he actually claimed that teaching science is promoting atheism, thus doesn't separate church and state. The level of stupid is amazing sometimes.

  • @eldiceuf He wasa right critical thinking and evidence based reasoning promotes atheism ;)

    Which is a good thing

  • Good to see the religious folk slowing down Americas intellectual progress, dont listen to those atheists folks they preach knowledge and fact.... there is no place for that in forming the minds of the young to support what we tell them to support.... lets not let facts interfere with belief cause one might conflict the other.... that makes us uncomfortable, and we dont like to be challenged, to be blind is more comfortable than being fallable. Well done.

  • @BraniusBalki

    Atheist preach fact now? Really?

So you have some sort of proof of atheism?

Cuz I've been asking for it for years now.

  • @dex1391 Sure. Here's your proof:

    "Hey god, are you there?"

    (Absolute silence)

  • @dex1391 Dont need proof to say your not buying into other peoples bullshit.

  • @dex1391 "you have some sort of proof of atheism?" You know the definition of atheism is someone who lacks a belief in a God or gods right? I don't believe in gods so I'm the proof that atheists exists. Who have you been asking this questions too, and for how many years?

  • @dex1391 I don't think you know what atheism is. Atheism is the lack of belief in god(s)/goddess(es) You are essentially asking us to disprove your deity. Your deity (presumably God) is what is known as an unfalsifiable hypothesis. The burden of proof lies on the one that is trying to change the position we've held since birth. When I was born I had no belief in God, the default position. If you want me to start believing in a god, you have to provide evidence that he's real.

  • @AmericanSecularist

Nope... burden of proof is on you.

You make the claim that the universe had no creator... well then it's up to you to tell us where it came from.

  • @dex1391 No, you are the one presenting a theory about the origins of the universe. There is no evidence to support your theory. The burden of proof always lies on the one making the claim. The default position since birth has always been the lack of belief in a god. Later in life one is introduced to the theory that there is a deity, this theory is presented without any evidence, therefor the logical, rational choice is to dismiss the ridiculous notion.

  • @AmericanSecularist

Actually there's quite a bit of evidence to support my as you call it "theory".

You claim that there is no Creator... then where did it come from. You need to back up your claim.

LOL another atheist that claims that there's no evidence... that's what's called ... a lie.

  • @dex1391 Let me get this straight. Your theory on HOW the universe came to be, is nothing more than the universe came to be? That is not good evidence. You should take a course on arguments and logic. There isn't evidence of a creator, I don't know where it came from, but I doubt it came from a creator as I have yet to see any GOOD evidence for there being a creator.

  • @AmericanSecularist

Beautiful example of a strawman. Thank you.

Yes... there is evidence for God. This is well established.

Your denial is simply a red herring..

  • @dex1391 Surprisingly saying there is evidence for God doesn't make that statement true. I am curious as to how my previous post can possibly be considered a "stawman"(for future reference it is straw man) or a red herring. You have yet to provide any solid evidence that God exists.

  • @AmericanSecularist

    About 70,100,000 results (0.16 seconds)

0.16 seconds is all that took. I googled "evidence for God" and got over 70 million results.

you're obviously lying just to lie at this point.

Try coming up with some evidence for atheism... good luck with that.

  • @dex1391 a few things.

    1) How was that a "strawman" (for future reference it is spelled straw man) do you even know what a straw man argument is?

    2) Just saying there is evidence for God does not make it true. If you have evidence please provide it.

    3) What am I diverting attention from? You shouldn't use words that you don't even understand, it makes you look incredibly uneducated.

  • @AmericanSecularist

Yes I know what it is... reread your idiotic comments and come back.

Just saying that there's evidence for atheism doesn't make it true. If you have evidence provide it.

You diverted attention from defending your position. I was correct. You know that I was correct.

LOL you even claimed to own the "default" position...

    Good luck proving that.

  • @dex1391

Atheism isn't a belief, it is a lack of belief. You have a flawed question. The proof of atheism is the lack of evidence for theism.

Google evidence that man never landed on the moon, you'll get 11,300,000 results. If you have evidence that there God exists show me it, otherwise I will assume you have none.

I do have the default position, unless you can show me a baby that was born with belief in God.

  • @AmericanSecularist

There is no lack of evidence for theism. and even if there were... it still wouldn't be evidence for athesim.

With your logic I could claim to have the default position... unless of course you can show me that a baby was born with the belief that there is no God.

  • @dex1391 There is a lack of evidence for theism, saying there isn't a lack of evidence will not make that true. Either present the evidence, or I will assume you have none. Given that atheism is the lack of a belief, lack of evidence for a belief would be evidence for atheism.

Oh, you don't know what atheism is. Atheism is the lack of belief in God. Everyone who is born lacks the belief in God.

  • @AmericanSecularist

I wasn't born with a lack of belief in God. And I certainly never once even for a moment believed that there is no God.

Lack of evidence (even if there were) isn't evidence.. never was never will be.

Again... there's millions of web pages listing evidence for God.

    do your own homework.

I'm asking you for evidence in atheism. I KNOW you don't have any.
