@WKHalford Turns out it was hard parts inside the transmission....like the wet clutches. Belt was actually fine...

@rekjavicxxx Wow, that's a very unusual failure on any ATV with a wet clutch, whether centrifugal or not. Especially on a Yamaha, with the great reputation their CVT transmissions have.

Well at least someone can't say the belt was the problem!

@ADrunkHippe0xboxlive that sounds like what my dads rubicon was doin. the angle sensor got too wet or somethin. its right under the muffler. he just took took it off dried it out and it went right back to workin.

@rekjavicxxx hows the oil, because my Honda trx 250ex was doing that and the drive oil was low and had low oil in general (i didn't take care of it, i was unemployed but now i will) and so it was doing that. but if theres no grinding, then theres a good chance its not the tranny. but still could be. so check the oil, and check the carb. cuz mine stopped accepting throttle and the carb was gummed up.

i miss the red rubicon had hydrualic drive, now got a yamaha cause i didnt want a rincon with high gear only. and plus the grizzly i got a locker and irs. only if they take them v twin engines from the motorcycle and put em in the honda and yamaha 4 wheelers, they be badass. i miss the straight axle though, but this griz i got do just fine, got new set of rims and tires for it
