  • uncle tom Michael Steele is setting black people back

  • the new GOP - NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME

  • The new gop should be the Ron Paul Gop, thats what ppl want to hear. Follow the constitution, no more undeclared wars, end the war on drugs, eliminate the IRS, end the fed.

If we got rid of the personal income tax the gov would have to live off a budget the size we had in....1997, now that is something we could do and it is a real long term stimulus. Ron Paul has the answers no else in the GOP wants to talk about.

  • Dude, Steele, it's a website. It isn't even that new or creative a thing since people have been making websites for over a decade.

Man, this guy is really behind the times.

  • All Ya'll stop the divisive crap , b/c any-one who still can't see you've been LIED to X-& again ( this X the Biggest Lies, Plural ; LIES ) than you are so far from reality that your more insecure, dependent, and Misguidedly Delusional than your own Country would like to admit Wake-up (_-_)

  • does he even listen to or think about the shit that comes out of his mouth ?....." it's not even really a website ".....????....dumbass clown

  • Michael Steele has taken down the 'what up' section and replaced with a 'slum love' section.

  • Rush Limbaugh for president 2012

  • that was a very dumb statement.

  • I don't think so and I'm right all the time.

  • just what we need in the white house, an egotistic drug addict

  • And I'm sure you are one of the ones who want to legalize pot so everyone driving can have fun driving with drunks and high people?

  • Do you think the ones who would illegally drive a car while high would not be the ones who would illegally smoke pot anyway?

You already realize that making it illegal to smoke pot is a deterrent to those who follow the law, so why would they wait until smoking pot was legal to illegally drive? It makes no sense.

  • TheNewVideo, if people are caught driving under the influence they are subject to arrest whether the drug is legal or not. No one said they are in support of letting people legally drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

There is a big difference between responsible adults who get plastered in their own homes and those who drive.

  • Just like Alcohol, the more of it available the more people will abuse it. Humans make mistakes and responsibility is something you think everyone will abide by?

  • I never said everyone will abide by the rules. This is why we have police on the streets and DWI checkpoints.

  • Police should not "break rules" to catch "rule breakers" - this is why we have a Constitution, because although there are lawbreakers, there are also tyrants.

  • True but the drug warrior conservatives won't be satisfied until the police get all the power they want.

  • Another crock of crap. Throwing out made up stuff though is very typical of the left. It is their most creative side.

  • Made up stuff? It's true, the conservatives and yes, plenty of liberals too, will give the police any powers they request in order to do their job. Warrant-less wiretapping is the most common.

Also, how can I be considered on the left if I want LESS government? That doesn't make sense.

  • Less government is my what I look forward to beginning with next years elections along with less taxes both local and federal. As for the patriot act, if you are not a terrorist then why worry about anything?

  • How about you come back when you have some facts to back your shit up, rather than what you think -.-

  • The fact is, I'm always right.

  • yeah well stfu until you provide some evidence to back your bs up, thanks -.-

  • No, I will not shut up for your evidence because the radical left cannot except the truth ever.

  • Lol I can't believe you guys

  • actually, no.

  • haha, Rush Limbaugh for president? That'd be the one person that could fuck the US up more than Bush. A redneck, racist, conservative who without proper education who couldn't even lead a clan on world of warcraft, for president?

  • it's not a wesbite. IT IS NOT A WEBSITE

  • you people REALLY dont know your history whatsoever on the two parties. You cant just say something and make it true when you have absolutely no examples to back up your points. Yall dont even know WHEN blacks stopped supported the republican party and WHY. you are mentioning lincoln and king, and are completely way off. at least get your history right, my goodness.

  • wait... is a DC-10 not really an airplane? is a Honda Accord not really a car? this guy is just such a moron.

  • LMAO i just check that website out and it fails....

  • numberoneandahalf , do you realize that poor whites benefit from welfare more than anyone in this nation? do you realize that white women benefit from affirmative action more than anyone in this nation? and your thoughts on republicans then and now is ridiculously stupid. Did you know that less than a half century ago UCLA won 10 ncaa championships and couldnt be stopped? and now they cant win once they get to the final four? OH NO WHY ARENT THEY THE SAME TEAM AS BEFORE??

  • So many parts of this country are pathetic.

Honestly, is there anyone out there that doubts that Steele is only the RNC Chairman so that all these southern Republicans can point to him and say, "See!? We're not racist!!!!"

  • o shit i thought that site was an actual joke, i cant believe its really a g.o.p made site

  • The Republican Party hasn't been "the Party of Lincoln" for fifty years...so none of those examples apply to where the GOP has gone in it's beliefs.

  • cool ill ddos it

  • that fun

  • the video has a shitty title...totally out of context

Be at least a little fair to the guy.

  • I don't see what the problem is, the video gives the whole context.

  • WHAT UP! haha GOP...clowns.

  • Steele is a nice enough guy, but the LAST thing this country needs is yet ANOTHER Republican leader INCAPABLE of seeing above and beyond "Reagan/Limbaugh".

Talk about setting the bar low!

  • lol this uncle tom son of a bitch

  • Why is he an uncle tom? For being a republican? Martin Luther King Jr was a republican. So was Abraham Lincoln, the party that freed the slaves. Just 50 years ago, Democrats tried to vote NO on civil rights and say that a black man shouldnt be allowed to serve as a witness in court. Hell, it even took a republican to make MLK day a holiday.

Blacks vote for dems because they increased welfare. What does that tell you? It tells me there should be more 'uncle toms' who stand for freedom.

  • lol mlk was not a republican and abraham lincoln was a real republican not a neo conservative

  • Uh, yes, he was. Martin Luther King Jr, 1928-1968, was a republican, registered in 1956.

    Try looking it up.

  • haha if mlk were alive today he would be a republican?a steele republican??lol

  • Martin Luther King was a Christian Socialist. Look it up. He was against the Vietnam War, supported most social programs and his analysis of poverty led him to criticize capitalism. Even the liberal New York Times called him a "Communist sympathizer" and "anti-American".

The only Democrats who voted "No" on the Civil Rights Act were the conservative states' rights Southern Democrats who went Republican after the Northern Democrats signed the CRA.

  • "Blacks vote for dems because they increased welfare"

    1) Most African-Americans aren't on welfare.

    2) Most black voters vote Democrat because the Democrats gained the "party of the working man" image under FDR and the Northern Democrats and LBJ supported the Civil Rights Act.

    3) The Republicans allowed in the Dixiecrats and ran the anti-Civil Rights Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan for president (both used the Southern Strategy). That's why most blacks left the GOP.

  • The GOP will lose more Senate Seats in 2010 & the GOP will use that as an excuse to get rid of Steele -- who's been horrible!

  • Are you down with GOP? Well you know me....

    *walks away*

  • It's not a website but he gives you the URL... Saw on CNN that his page changed "What Up" to "Change the Game" and then CNN aired a commercial with actor Michael Imperioli selling 1800 Tequila with the "Change The Game" tag line! NOT KIDDING!

    GOP = Grumpy Old People?

  • Michael Steele is setting black people back further than Flavor Flav eating a watermelon.

  • If you read the ''Heroes" section of the website you'll find that almost all the people listed were from around the Civil War era. If you know anything about history you'll know that the Republicans back then share move views with the Democrats of today.

So smooth moves guys! The name is all that matters, right!?

  • redefining shit to crap doesn't change the content of what it is.

  • That website represents the GOP, a load of crappy buggy tools and an ugly layout.

Welcome to the 21st century, repbubs.

  • I bet that it is powered by a series of tubes.

    It's not a big truck!

  • The Republican party is a disgrace

  • Steele is the GOP's house negro. He play's his part very well.

  • Hmmm if I get engaged to the GOP will they give me a ring? Will it be zirconium?

  • lol christ, the republicans are so out of touch that it's breaking news they've now discovered the internet

ron paul's ideas are really their only salvation, and he's very up with the times...no wonder they think hes batshit crazy haha

  • And sadly many of Ron Paul supporters also tend to be conspiracy theory loonies as well... which doesn't help his credibility to people like me who like some of the things he says...

    >_>

  • Yeah and in the debates he would have to explain that he doesn't feel the way that many of his supporters do, and then answer the debate question. He still would make the most sense of any candidate. There's quite a few clips on YouTube that seem to show FOX wasn't too fair to him during the debates. I like Ron Paul and he's pretty much the opposite end of the political spectrum from me. He seems to believe in what he's saying, which is rare in politics.

  • That is breaking news Reps have discovered the internets?

  • i am not sure GOP know what internet anyway

  • Racist is the new N word, thrown at white conservatives. Try some balance!

  • They are the RACIST Party. Everone sees it.

    They are exposed.

  • "It's not really a website..."

Ya damn straight it's not really a website...

  • Meet the new GOP, same as the old sexist, racist, self-serving, fear mongering, war mongering, partisan nutjobs.

  • Oh, come on this is stupid. He clearly misspoke. Sounded to me like a marketing person for many websites. It's not a "website"... It's more that that is a "platform!"

  • He did not misspeak.

    He meant to say that.

He does this a lot so that he can tell who is with him and who is not. He is a brilliant and clever man. HAHAHA

  • wow.....

I cant believe he said that.

  • The GOP is sliding downwards into oblivion, and good riddance.

But I am afraid it will be replaced by something much worse. :\

  • ...replaced by beck and the tea party nation party? aka corporate pawns/ corporate foot soldiers screaming nonsense with a finger on the trigger. is that what you are afraid of?

  • The tea party protesters are real, honest folk, and Beck is the corporate pawn trying to assert himself as their leader. There is a real distinction there. The tea partiers don't give a crap about corporations by the way, their motivation is more selfish. (I don't mean that in a bad way.)

But aside from that, yes, you pretty much understand my concern. I'm also afraid the new political party will be explicitly Christian and Nationalist. Those radical jesus freaks are delusional and dangerous.

  • honest perhaps, but dumb as hell.

  • At .43 it looks like Shep is saying, "it's about time" [these fucks use the current technology]

  • The way Steele is trying to act cool and mundane...it's a disgrace and an insult to the viewer.

  • I just checked out the website and there was a question asking "Why are you Republican?"

One of the comments left below it reads as follows:

"i love this country FOUNDED by JESUS along with our founding fathers, who were great men, even though they were WHITE!..."

  • I see much opportunity for trolling, here...

  • It's a "beta" site, which means "we can put up a mediocre product and say, it's beta" when it doesn't work properly. Anyhow, yeah.

  • steele is a clown

  • i balked at a full 360 spin.. i was so disappointed....

  • look, the token black republican puppet is talking :-)

  • So what is it then!! A magazine or a news paper!! LMAO

  • Everytime he opens his mouth he sets black people back.

  • hes not really a black person, they just painted Dr. Phil McGraw.

  • Lol, gold star for you sir.

  • "the reality of it is...." Michael Steele, the GOP's official clown, the good boy who acts the way he should.

  • I left a few comments. They weren't even impolite. Not a one has showed up yet. I used a couple of naughty words, namely, "Ron" and "Paul."

  • This jerk can't run a website and he criticizes Obama for winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

  • Instead criticizing the Nobel prize commitee for giving Obama an award prematurely?

    Thats what you mean right?

  • OFCOURSE ITS A WEBSITE!

    hahahah

  • Look out honey, 'cause they're using technology!

Seriously, just who does the GOP hope to appeal to with this "not a website"?

Bluehairs who get their news from AM radio and the teevee?

Wingnuts and teabirthers already loyal to loopy, anti-government sites?

    Young, tech-savvy kids?

Talk about behind the curve! So far, it looks the only ones checking it out are LIbs trying to make it crash...

  • Teabirthers: I will be using that. Thanks.

  • My pleasure...have at it!

  • Hahaha lets all keep goin to the site so it keeps on crashing. That should be fun

  • special ed for computer dummies: no matter how you spin it a website is a website

  • Go the the website and check out Michael Steele's blog -- this is too funny -- his blog is called "What Up". Steele is blatantly trying to fit a racial stereotype while claiming that race is not important. The GOP is pathetically uncomfortable with their own image problems because they don't reflect America. They are simply awkward when it comes to trying to pretend to embrace diversity.

  • Michael Steele says the Republicans are "Takin' it to the streets"?

The only "street" the Republicans feel comfortable on is Wall Street.

  • The "new" GOP is still so far back in the stone age that they can't even get a web site functioning.

  • they rag on obama for lack of vetting of his cabinet staff... and that might be true to a degree but did the gop vet steele in the brains department?

  • no they didn't. That guy is borderline retarded

  • Websites are now "platforms"? What's with the GOP constant obsession with renaming shite? (Such as turning living wills into death panels) It's just extension of their spin. Heaven forbid they communicate in the same language of everybody else. Heaven forbid they the address the same reality everybody else is in.

  • I wonder if they will block us from their little website that is not a website the same way they do on youtube. LOL Steele is such a dweeb.

  • lol @ taking the republican party "to the streets"

  • Engaged with the GOP? I should like to engage my boot with GOP's ass, svp.

  • i can't get into that site.... LOL

man this is too much fun

  • hilarious.

  • michael steels not even realy black..........lol

  • Yes! More tolerant race-baiting liberals. Love it!!

  • hold still....hold still....lemme pull the hook out.

  • We love fishing. It's so much better than golf.

  • New+GOP=War

  • Beta-website for beta-males

  • Warning: Uncle Tom sighted!

  • There ya go! I was waiting for that tolerant, white liberal male racism to start seeping in. Good work!

  • Its not a site its a platform, Steele has drank the Web 2.0 koolaide lol.

  • The site is so stupid

  • taking the GOP to the streets...by going online.

    flawless!

  • they have no comments on the site yet, im bout to go crazy commenting on michael steele's "whats up?" blog. hahaha.

  • you down with G-O-P ?

  • the GOP being part of the "vibrant community". lol.

  • the site is down

  • Yep site is down... a few angry dems.

  • I tried to open-up the site, but it just said, "Sorry, you're WAY too smart to be a republican."

    Oh well...

  • I was distracted by the hair loss advertisement

  • I just went to the site. Steele has a blog there called "What up?" Seriously, with a title like that, he should have his own segment on CNN.

  • Steele has no idea what he's doing. Remember earlier, wearing his republican? Then Bachmann with the "what up my dog?"

  • G.O.P trynna be NIGGERS, just WIGGERS TRYNNA ACT IN HIP HOP STYLE IN ORDER TO BEAT OBAMA PRICELESS..

  • Yes more leftist tolerance!!! Bait that race!

  • minionuup, what "tolerance!!!" has the GOP displayed on any subject concerning liberals, progressives, democrats, ever?

the problem with obama is he's been too damned tolerance of YOU (wacos) to the detrement of america & the world.

in fact the dems have been too tolerent of you since the "contract with america" sham in 95, look where that got the world!

but then we americans know rewriting history is is typical of you lazy, lying bastards. in reality you're nothing but imcompetent idiots!

  • You are typical of a fact fucked, emotion driven POS liberal. See you in the streets.

  • Michael Steele "Community Organizer"

  • he's just a clown, trying to make us laugh. is that so wrong?

  • i agree with ya. He is a fucking clown and cowerd

  • Yeah take it from the swedes!
