The Muppets Take Manhattan and the two Muppet movies made before it; The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper are the very best of the Muppet movies. The Muppet Christmas Carol was a huge disapointment for me. So, I didn't bother with the rest of the newer Muppet movies. The Muppets are not the same without Jim Henson, himself.

I might be wrong but, maybe they didn't care that is made up name was Phil that rhymed with "ill" (just like Bill, Gill and Jill). Maybe the reason why they hired him was because, they thought he was a smart frog who knew a lot of things very well and easily since he came up with the perfect slogan for the office which none of them would have came up with.
