Check out the movie "Adventures In Babysitting" some time... about 1h in, keep an eye on the teenage boy trying to be tough, saying, "You... you... big-city, scum sucker!" That's what these emo kids are like.

By the way, visual kei is a fashion that originated in japan in the mid 80's. Its usually clumped up with emo and especially scene because of similarities but the scene and emo "styles" have nothing to do with visual kei.
