  • Great Music and Humanitarium!!!!

  • Wow George.....Nama Parvati!!!!!!!!!!

  • If only he didn't have problems with the moving mic -- he could've jumped in more with Eric on guitar solos!

  • Amazing. Clapton. Harrison. Were still great friends!

  • When, where was this concert? Who what?

  • They're not the Beatles, they're less than half the Beatles. Sorry, Ringo.

  • Bravo George!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We miss you George.

  • Beatles = Epic

  • George looks young, healthy, handsome and is in great voice! Hard to believe that as of today he has been gone 7 years. Whatever that audience paid was not enough! They sure got the best for their money!!

  • Great live show, love the song :)

  • nice info

    thx

  • created a supergroup with - Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty and Roy Orbison, wrote and composed a song (Guitar Gently Weeps) that is one of music most recorded songs in all generes - Country, rock, metal, death metal, pop and contemporary, composed some of the Beatles most recognized riffs (Norwegian Wood, Birthday, I Feel Fine) - First artist use Feedback as a sound not accident... google is a fun tool but check facts before opening traps.. God Bless John and George.

  • He wrote some of the Beatles most famous (world wide) and recognized songs - Something, and While My Guitar Gently Weeps, was the first musician to challenge the government and the establishment with songs like Taxman and Piggies, first artist to raise awareness and money for third world nations (Concert for Bangladesh) Composed and performed on number #1 songs in 4 decades...

  • Awesome footage...

George Harrison was 17 when he joined the Beatles, as the first true lead guitarist in rock, introduced blues rock lead guitar to mainstream that was emulated and expanded by Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Paige, brought stringed intrustruments and eastern influence to music which became the premise and sound to mid and late sixties sounds of Zepplin, Jefferson Airplane and reflected in the sounds of the Pepper and White Album, more to come...

  • Great Beatle !

  • ...While my new bra makes me weeeeeeep....!!!!

  • i hate!!! the middle pickup sound of the stratocaster in the 80's

  • Then I guess you don't mind George's sound since his selecter is set at the in between setting which gets both middle and bridge. (4:47) which you can tell by listening by the way. I hate!!! wannabe guitar experts that should just be listening instead of analyzing.

  • Weep

  • elinor and lardass.... SHUUUUT UUUUP!!!!!!

  • as I said- you have the right to belive in that, as I have the right to belive in George's version- that it's all just pettiness.

  • anyway, you said it youself, it was an "unintentional plagiarism" !!! i think that if the court called it that way- then it's true. but, anyway, you have the right to belive in whatever you want...

  • Did you people know that Lardass56 is a little girl? It's TRUE! She is obsessed with George Harrison and haunts his videos, posting rude comments like these to get attention. If you don't reply, she'll go away.

  • great rare preformance

  • lardass- first, you have the right to think that about Goerge's music, but i totally disagree with you, i just like his music- and i'm certainly not going to apologize for that. about the plagiarizing- i have no idea where did you get that information from, and the truth is that i would like to know- where , for god sake, did you get that information from??

  • Hey Great Video, luv' the sound

check This really good video. I m receiving curses from jealous guitarists because of that vid.

TAGS: while Joe moore weeps Jad 's guitar

and plz this is not a spam it s promoting my channel (youtube's goal)

    Peace to all guitarists .

  • lardass- i have no idea what makes you think that way, and i think that you cannot be more wrong.

i've never compared his funeral to John's- and i never will, but i don't understand why you have to do that.

instead of going to George's funeral- why won't you try to listen to his music? George is one of those artists that can touch your heart so much- and even makes you cry .

i'm also not trying to compare his music to John's- i just think of him as an individual amazing artist.

  • i hate you for saying that.

George will never be forgotten- his music will last forever. Besides, George is one of the most appreciated artists ever- the fact that you don't know that doen't say you are right.

  • I so miss him.

  • READ THIS IMPORTANT MESSAGE: CHAIN LETTERS ARE VERY ANNOYING AND THEY NEED TO STOP! Please copy and paste this to 4 other videos or you will die of cancer

    ---

Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?

  • What concert is this from? I want to see the rest.

  • this was one of the princes trust concerts, sometime in the late 80's.I do have it on video somewhere in my collection

  • Must've been one hell of a concert. My god.

  • It would've been so hard to watch all these amazing stars on the same stage without fainting or having a heart attack!

That concert is a dream come true. Sad it can't happen again.

  • And before anyone comments, yes Jools Holland, another brilliant artist in his own right, so add Squeeze to the list, forgot to add to the previous quote.

  • All the people in this video are A1 in their own rights, from George Harrison to Jeff Lynne. When you look at this video you see a whole history or pop/rock music from the early '60's to the 90's. Genesis, Cream, ELO, The Beatles, UB40, Elton John, the whole spectrum of music all playing, and I might add, superbly, on one stage. Forget the greatest, the best, or whatever, enjoy the moment of all these great artists in their day, one day they will all be like George Harrison, not here anymore.

  • P.S this does not work

  • this is a true thing that happens! its not a chain letter! its kinda scary at first but it really works!! paste this message into 3 comments and press ALT F1 and your crushes name will appear on the screen!!! its soo wierd!

    (

  • Your so Wierd!!!

  • I love George Harrison!

  • The Beatles were a GREAT band. And the addition of Eric Clapton, Billy Preston, George Martin, etc. just made them BETTER!

  • I wish that the younger generations and still younger to come will have a chance to see these greats play. Then they know how God bless us with the music of the 60s. Praise the Lord.

  • What is really interesting on this video is that the weeping guitar was played by the same guy who made it weeps on the original record.... Eric Clapton. This is a fact, on the original record George was unable to obtain the weeping sound he want, so he ask his friend Eric to made the guitar weep.

  • La entañable melodia numero uno de Mr. George Harrison.

  • this is a great video , a great song, with great musicians.

for all you arguing about which one is the best, DONT argue. they ALL make up the most famous(and greatest) band in history. they are all equally as great and equally as famous as eachother.

    - solo career, Harrison, McCartney AND Lennon all had theyre major moments, but its not cool to be assholes about them. real fans appreciate not hate

    DO NOT be assholes.

  • forever -- this IS navsegda

  • i miss george it wasnt his time

  • Can't miss with George and Clapton!

I also miss the Beatkes, they got me through high school!!!! Why do so many slam Paul-He can do it all!

    jude (hey-nice video.)

  • george is the best beatle i agree

  • When you know some music you can catch the similarity between one song and another chordwise. They might sound widely different but they are so developing off one another. Compare this song to "I'll Be Back" by Lennon or "Things We Said Today" by McCartney. Great minds do move in similar directions.

  • I find it slightly strange that i own a piece of music from every person on that video & i am only 18.Anyway its a great song & a great performance

  • where is paul???

  • damn this really makes me so sad :( :( :( I love the Beatles. :(

  • I really enjoyed the dual guitar solo with George and Eric playing off each other-- they're so intense but you can tell they're digging it also. And I love seeing multiple drummers-- go Ringo and Phil! With all that rhythm you can use a little more bang. Great video. Thanks for posting.

  • george is the best beatle

  • listen all george was the and will only be the best 4eva more so the beatles wood not exsist without george so there

  • I've always thought George's songs were a mix of Jhon's and Paul's styles. John always wrote anrgy at the world songs. Songs with a deeper meaning. Paul wrote pop songs about love. George did a little of both.

  • okay anyone who is a beatles fan knows that number one john wrote the progressions to his own songs either on his own or WITH paul/george and two it wouldnt have been the beatles without either one of them because they're all amazing talents

  • Debatably George Harrison's best song. A very nice performance and a once in a lifetime moment. Thanks for sharing it. A real treasure!

  • The Video the Cream of the best and beyond

  • George was the best beatle! His songs shit over Lennon and Macca.

  • ahhh yes, but remember without JOHN their would be no beatles. NO BEATLES = NO GEORGE.

  • lol withort george harrison, there wouldn't have been a beatles, john was a dick with an ego, sure he wrote good lyrics but last time i remembered, it was paul mcartney and george who wrote the chord progressions, do yourself a favor and shutup

  • a 24 yr old pussy :-)

  • John was the best and paul and george sucked compared to him

  • wow, you now little about the beatles dalcon. pauls ego was way bigger then johns. also in the start lennon wrote just about everything (words and music) in the middle paul did and towards the end john started to write more (not as much as paul). they rarely worked together, lennon wrote his own music.

  • i love ringo! and george !

  • mark king <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • para q carajo ponen the beatles si es george harrison la puta q los pario

  • I remembering seeing this on tv and was blown away..what a thrill having all these great artists on the same stage.

  • Awesome! Great performance! Look at how cool Harrison is, with even the annoying mic that keeps moving to the side. His singing here is really good, better than even the Beatles days. And Mr.Clapton does excellent work on the guitar parts, good master technician he is.

  • ANyone know what the concert was? Astounding!

  • 2 of the greatest guitarists togethere playing the same solo. that is amazing

    clapton is god

  • Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Elton John, Jools Haolland, Mark King, Phil Collins, Ringo Starr and Jeff Lynne. What an amazing line up for a band. Just absolutly fabulous. smallbaldman I'm am so envious that you were there.

  • why is there two drummers?!?!

  • When the two drummers are Starr and Collins, it takes two halves to make a whole. :) Just kidding... as I recall, Collins was the drummer for the show and Starr just came on for a guest appearance with George.

  • Hahahahaha. Good one.

  • Just wonderful .. and I was lucky enough to be there that night .... never to be forgotten!

  • simply amazing, what a legends!!!!

  • Excellent !!! Elton John is amazing , George Harrison is the best and Ringo they make a great combination.

  • I would've killed to see this performance live. Come on...look who's on stage! Jesus.

  • that might possibly be the best guitar solo of all time..George looks just like bob dylan!

  • WHAT A BAND!!!

  • wooow this is amazing the goergo, clapton, elton, ringo, phill play together and this song is great

  • George's voice is AMAZING in this. (And his hair is impossibly big!! lol.) I love him.

  • They all come across as uncomfortable.

  • RIP George, thank you for helping me become a better musician. We need more people like you.

  • This is just one of those musical moments that leaves you speechless. The combination of talent on this stage is amazing and you can tell how much each of them also respected that in spite of their own place in musical history.

  • That was amazing George Harrison will be in us forever. Ringo sure lookas like he had a good time. You rock

  • u were special, George,u r still in our hearts and u always will be.

  • This IS NOT the Beatles. The title is noit right. Duh.

  • Sublime. Thank you.

  • omg, a slim Elton John!

  • did I see David Gilmore from Pink Floyd in this video? anyone else see him?

  • I go straight to heaven when listening to Beatles. Excellent live version.

  • absolutely wonderful!

  • muy buenos. pd:vean los videos de kalikrates

  • way to ruin a song. that sounded so bad.

  • This si cool, George sounds really great,Eric sounds fab as well, who is that percussion guy?? I think he was on The Concert For George..is he some Yo- Cat Tamborine man or something ; )?

  • His name's Ray Cooper. He's been playing with Elton John's band since the 70s. Yeah, he gets into it, huh?

  • Recently saw a Kinks concert on vh1 classic from the old days with Coop in it with lots of hair!

  • we miss you george!

  • George is suffering is having to battle with the bain of all guitar players, the rotating microphone

  • This is from 5th/6th june 1987 at wembley arena at a concert for The Princes Trust.

  • George sounds great!

  • the strat sounds no where near the les paul.if u new anything about guitars ud no that.liten to the fender sound.pure country

  • I think it has much to do with the way the tone and controls were set up. There are many more tones a strat can make.. I think that is the sound Harrison wanted in this case :)

  • todos los genios juntos

  • u would of thought that Big phil would of stood down! no need for 2 drummers really lol!!

  • WOW!!! 10,000 YEARS IN TOTAL ON THE SAME STAGE AT THE SAME TIME!!! JUST KIDDING, THOSE ARE REAL MUSIC GIANTS REUNITED!

  • When was this?

  • looks like george and eric are guitar battling, whatever...looks nice

  • It's funny how George's twangy Strat sounds next to Eric's thundering Les Paul.

  • MOST EXCELLENT

  • why elton have to ruin the video >_>

  • una verdadera maravilla, como puedo dejar de llorar despues de ver este video. Iré ahora mismo por una cerveza y brindare por mis amigos... este video se debe llamar IMPOSSIBLE TEAM... un abrazo desde chile

  • Eric played the original WMGGW solo on White Album on a Les Paul (or so goes the lore), so probably to capture that same sound here . . esp. since George and Lynne use a Strat and a Tele here?

  • George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne, and also Phil Collins back there on drums with Ringo. An ALL STAR performance!!!!! I would have loved to be at that concert!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

  • i love you so much!!

    this video is fantastic!!

    i love the BEATLES!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hari Krishna George

  • OH MY GOD this is AMAZING why havent more people watched/commented this? thank you thank you thank you for putting this video up! OMG i love George sooooo much he's gorgeous actually i love Ringo, Elton, and Clapton too. And did i see Jeff Lynne back there too? amazing!

  • I love this song and George rocks

  • Love George,love Ringo...awesome...

  • AWESOME - THANKS FOR ADDING THIS VIDEO - 420 MUSIC

  • each time I see they all or alone I so happy....

  • It's not really that surprising to see Clapton with a Les Paul. He played Les Pauls with Cream and has used them throughout his career, albeit far less than he uses Strats.

  • I have seen him with a Gibson 335 as well.

  • I Don't know what else to say but....WOW!

  • funny to see clapton playing on a gibson les paul ^^

  • I love You GEORGE!
