Oil needs to be reburied with the fossils from whence it came. It has benefits but should not make the world go round or dictate military action. A real conservative doesn't make political allies and stick our nose in others affairs, affairs that lead to backlash. I do agree that we should have brought the ones responsible to justice, and we have, but the continued occupation and policing of a belief system is wrong and doesn't work..........

Didn't they learn from Clinton's blunder that left America vulnerable to terrorist attacks? Apparently they didn't. Democrats are still living in their own little pretend land where nothing can harm us. But, you know what? Reality is that if we back off, the Iraqi terrorists and the Palestinians will eventually attack us, as well as the innocent people on their land. Do we really have to let another genocide happen since the 9/11 attack?

im going to boot camp this fall and will be going to war soon after and i would like to thank any one in the house or the senate who is willing to stand up for the troops. my grand dad told me when he found out im joining the army that war is not a game and that i need to be readdy for it when i go. so im ready sent me over there and lets get war over with

The Republicans are trying to take credit for the so-called victory in Iraq before the mid-term elections. Because they know as everyone knows that violence in Iraq has already been on an upswing just in the week that our last "combat" soldiers crossed into Kuwait. Nothing will have changed there. Al Queda will again terrorize the people and eventually the strongest insurgent leader will emerge and take control of Iraq. So what........we will do this all over again? Highly doubtful

The Islamic terrorists have shown that, given a safe haven to plan and stage an operation, they will strike at innocent civilians in the Western World. Witness 9/11, the London bombings and the Madrid bombings. If you want to embrace the people who did that, go ahead. They will probably return the favor by handing you your head - literally.

Look up the Sunni Awakening. If you ask most Iraqis, and most non-partisans, the sunni awakening had much more to do with "success" in Iraq than the surge. Too many Americans have no idea what's going on in Iraq. When they hear about violence, they think TERRORIST! There is no understanding of sunni, shia, or sectarian conflict when it comes to our 2 current wars.

@IMurderdTheDevil I believe that some regulation, ie: cap and trade, does need to be done in moderation but only until the economy recovers. Oil needs to be reburied with the fossils from whence it came. It has benefits but should not make the world go round or dictate military action. Gvernment spending too should be done in moderation but the spendthrifts turned overnight deficit hawks is mostly political posturing. If not kept in check their election dogma could dash any hopes for a recovery.

Clinton has not been given the credit that he justly deserves in his mis-managing of critical information. Very slowly more and more hic-cups are coming to light, and there is much more ahead.
