I started listening to Johnny Cash in 1955 and loved his music from the beginning. I always wanted to meet him, but he was out of town when my wife, daughter and I visited the House of Cash in the early 70's. Great man and great music. I know you will always treasure your memories of Johnny and June. Thanks for sharing!
Hello Henry! Thank-You for letting me know about this video..........:) Great Photos here.! If ever you want to listen to my cover of "City of New Orleans " for the 5th time, you can hear it on my channel here on YOUTUBE !! haha...:)
Thank you Henry, I am very moved. Thanks to my parents, I grew up with Johnny and June's music in my house, and have been a fan since I was 6 years old. I am now 48. You have made a beautiful tribute with this post. Thank you.
VERY cool, Henry. Thanks for sharing. I always loved Johnny Cash & I see you were able to meet Willy Nelson, Kris Kristopherson(sure I misspelled that ! ), & Marty & others.
What an exciting privilege to know Johnny Cash & his wife, June Carter Cash. However that first song in the set did not sound like June, It sounded like Allison Krause. Am I correct?
All i can say is im a broken man , you have done more for me than my family just by your music, i hope you know that ,i love you johnny god must need an apprentice . x
What a special friendship you had. Thank you for the pictures and his music. Johnny was my husband's friend when we lived in California. I remember seeing his black and white Cadillac in downtown Ventura by his office. OneKewpie
I am 15 and i am in love with Johnny Cash and June Carter.i would rather live like how it was in 1932 the atmosphere and just how it was the music, people everything.. A lot of the best singers lived back then and I would love to have meet them. I don't like how the world is in this generation. And Johnny and June will always be the best couple in the world forever. they will never be forgotten never. Johnny's music will never be replaced. they will always be in my heart. i miss them both......
What a nice treat for us .. thank you for sharing your wonderful memories of your friendship with Johnny Cash with us. I'm sure you still miss him and June Carter very much.
wow thats deep, i purchased my first cash lp when i was 7, i dont know how i became so found of him no one really listed to country in biger cities, and 1 could never find any black clothes. your tribute was the one that touched me the most--the net-works would have a A&R man at the 2nd coming its just to phoney some ones there because they are popular and people like you are pushed to the side. And please dont go around singing Cash and think its a tribute a tribute would be to shut up &listen
This is a lovely video. Thank you for sharing these photos. It is very fitting that you chose to use "Far side banks of Jordan" in your tribute. That is the song I always think about when I pause to reflect on what a wonderful marriage they had.
Good bless you...really god tribute to the one and only legend of the country music J.R.Cash.Could you plis tell me the names of this songs you have her in the clip!

Vaccaro + Aluminum Neck Kramer? I have one! Serial # A2414. Black XL7 with crown inlays. Got it at a pawn shop for $250 as a present from my brother when I made Eagle Scout in '93. LOVE that guitar! Sustain and Tone MONSTER! When I play "The Mercy Seat" with the deep switch on my Music Man amp kicked in, she sounds almost as resonant, as haunting as Johnny's voice!
Thanks to you for a SERIOUS, INDESTRUCTABLE Quality instrument (Even if it hurts my shoulder, hahahaha) and thanks to John for FIVE DECADES of AMAZING music and singing. God Bless John and June!

When June died, I thought my heart would break.
When John died, it did.
I first saw John live in Conway SC in 1959. Like the rest of his fans, I watched his career the rest of the way.
The man was a giant.

I was deeply touched when I saw John with his hand upon your Mother's head. That picture is a powerful testimony of the kind of man he was.
The love that June and John shared for 35 years on this earth was made in Heaven.
She went first and he followed her home.
The video is a fine tribute to both of them.
